Saturday's show is going to be fantastic - I just about fell out of my seat when Baxter did the Kool-Aid style burst through the wall. And when Splinter catches them sneaking back Inside... the whole Audience went dead SILENT! I just about died when Mike gave his 'hot cheese' story, and then Splinter said "The first rule of being a ninja is do no harm. Unless you mean to do harm, then you do lots of Harm!"

This saturday cannot come quick enough!!

Watching the Leatherhead footage I realize how realistic they're trying to get him. He's fighting the turtles and doing death rolls which is what crocadillians do in the wild when fighting their food or enemies (or wildlife experts trying to capture em...).

It does look like a death roll, but Ciro also said the footage was "raw" and i'm not sure if he was referring strictly to the lack of sound/voice or if the animation was not quite finished, because the way he rolled looked a little off to me especially when his rolling "speeds up" like sonic the hedgehog at one point :p

ciro was actually talking about that he/they just stopped working on that one when he flew out to new york city in order to attend the convention..thats the rawness...obviously these haven't been voiced yet so that s why the voice cat sitting next to ciro attempted a live voice over while the leatherhead footage was running...
I cought the death roll(is that the correct english expression for this flip?..hahaha) right away..and I must say I love it!..love the thought they are putting into the characters...man I just HOPE that baxter will already have some mousers running around this weekend!!

Leatherhead performing a death roll makes sense, and I agree with BubblyShell22, it is awesome. Should be interesting to see what kind of a mutant he is. Though I'm really curious to see how they'll have him voiced. I'd love it if he was at least partially influenced by the OT Leatherhead's characterization. If nothing else, a more subtle southern accent and the occasional I guarantee would be great...

They do, but advertising is kind of separate. It's not like Disney is actually promoting the show; Nick bought that particular page of ad-space so they can put what they want there.

BTW, I suspect the reason they haven't uploaded this week's episode to Nick.com is because of the Thursday night block they've been promoting recently (which consists of the latest TMNT repeat and a new episode of You Gotta See This).
