I thought he was gonna say he got fired for hitting on a female co-worker. My mind tends to hit the gutter too easily.

Loved the part where Mikey skateboarded as well as dancing to that cool music on his Ipod. Man, he freaked over polka, wonder how he feels about jazz?

my favorite parts/quote:
Donnie: You dropped it during the fight?! NICE GOING MIKEY!
Mikey: It's your fault!
Donnie: How's it my fault?
Mikey: You know I can't be trusted with nice things!

Leo: This has gone way too far. We have to tell Splinter about this!
Raph: What? That we turned some nut job into a super villain? Do you know what he'll do to us for that? I mean he pounded us into the ground just for being sleepy?!

Mikey: If my opinion counts for anything Donnie's right!
Donnie: Hey thanks Mikey! But it doesn't.
Mikey: Didn't think so (while reading comic/magazine)

Also love Mikey's reaction to polka music on his t-pod and Mikey's dancing

Less anime? I'm sorry but did you miss all the anime expressions in the show?

It is true though that Laird probability wouldn't approve of an episode like this.

What I like about the animation is that sometimes I looks more like stop motion than CG to me, specially at the end where stockman gets defeated, he kinda reminded me of the california Raisins.

Or maybe it's just me I dunno.

Episode script would have been rejected if it were a 4kids ep.

Everyone here is just joking around. The show is pretty much universally loved by most fans here.

The guy is obviously being sarcastic. Nobody is going to be bothered by people talking about scripts from an older show, especially people who work professionally in the industry.

I don't mean this in a "good riddance" kind of way, but I hope you mean it. The people here have awful ideas that shouldn't even be humored.

The scripts of the show are written months in advance before they air. All of Season 1 is done writing wise, whatever will happen for Season 2 is in the planning stages now.

Ok I know I'm new around here but do we have any proof that this is the real Ciro Nieli?

If it is then, I want him to know everyone is loving the show so far! (Even if he was being sarcastic in that comment about leaving)

Ciro, I really hope you're not gone for good. Some people here are just too clingy to Mirage and 2K3, and just can't let go. (I'll admit I'm the same way with the OT and Archie).

The episode was a lot of fun! I loved seing Baxter as a taunted loser who was tired of being stepped on. They even set up how Baxter builds his future Tech. (The left behind suit remained upgraded, so he can reverse engineer it, or he was able to study it's components for reverse engineering before the final battle when he was defeated), thus explaining where the mousers come from).

The only thing I would've changed was having the chip be recovered from the Kraang's headquaters during thier rescue mission in the first ep, but that's just me.

IDW is the best version of TMNT

If they make a TMNT reboot movie retelling the shredder battle/origin, I won't buy a ticket.

hahaha, no its not just you compadre!I ve been thinking about the california raisins too
but I really like that look, it means that the computer animation is so good at creating these surfaces that our brains automaticly assume this to be real objects and be lit by real light as everything else...its a testimony of how good the show#s visuals are actually...
I mentioned this clay look a fes episodes back already..(but wuld anybody believe me?NO..cause you all just think im some kind of bone head..)

yo, ciro don't bogue on it dude, there are just as many here who really enjoy what you are doing and love the past things for what they are(hello!..).that doesn't mean that we have to connect everything to what s been done before, as splinter says:
'life is good and life goes on.'...(brilliant.so easy.so true.)

p.s.:yeah, herpderp, I was thinking about that same thing!hahahaha

This was my favorite episode thus far alongside the two-part premiere. I'm liking Baxter Stockman's character in this one - he's more like a vengeful geek than a brilliant entrepreneurial scientist. The fight scenes with him were really good, too. Always good to see that the Turtles have limits as to what they can handle.

Dialogue was also great - I laughed when Raph said "Do you know what [Splinter] will do to us for that? I mean, he pounded us into the ground just for being sleepy!"

Additionally, Splinter is really becoming a strong character in this series. I like how he's dedicated to seriously training the Turtles, but he has a sense of humor when it comes to parenting. The relationship between them is just spot-on, miles ahead of what the 2k3 series offered.

I second every word of this! Its the '87 cartoon, but it stands very well on its own. We are going to have nitpicks about anything. Its just us bigger fans tend to be more protective of the franhise is all and yeah clingy to what we like best as well. I have a couple of problems with rhe Nick cartoon just like anyone would have a problem or two with an version of practially anything, but because it will never be done perfectly let alone to many different people with slgihlty different taste.
