I liked this episode and seeing Baxter Stockman was very cool. But I thought the episode seemed a tad disjointed because there wasn't any Kraang or Foot Clan around in this episode. It just seemed out of order I guess plot wise. Besides that I did notice a lot of easter eggs. The Mouser like arms when they detached, mentioning TCRI, and the "Fugitoid" sign refference on the shop that they quickly pan by as the turtles are going into the sewer to get away from the approaching Baxter Stockman? I agree with the majority. April just seems like a character there because...she's important to the series. She hasn't been used at all yet. There's still time of course but in the first five episodes she's done nothing herself.

I was at work during the premiere of this episode,so I missed it. Does anyone know when it will air on Nickelodeon again? I can't watch it online; my computer is way too slow for that.

Exactly, April was just some random girl they rescued... and nothing more... (until we get to the Don/April episode). I get the feeling they stuck her in there cause they felt they HAD to since almost every TMNT incarnation has had an April.

I really liked "I Think His Name Is Baxter Stockman." Baxter Stockman has always been one of my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle characters, so I was very happy to see him on the show. I thought Phil LaMarr did an outstanding job voicing him, though Scott Williams will always be my favorite.

I laughed really hard when he was in the warehouse, trying to find the perfect villainous name for himself. I also found it ironic, how Mickey (who is now known) for naming characters/stuff was being chased by Baxter, who couldn't figure out what to call himself. I am sure it wasn't done intentionally, but who knows ?

The only tiny gripe I had was that I wish he had a stronger vendetta against the Turtles. I understand Baxter was upset that he lost his job at TCRI and wanted revenge, but I was kind of hoping that he would be out for blood for the Turtles.

I'm really liking this incarnation of Splinter. I am getting an Iroh (Avatar: The Last Airbender) vibe, but that's okay because I love Iroh.

I feel your pain man, because I had to work Saturday to. I had to watch the episode online since the shows are not on On Demand yet, well yes but only the first and second episode.

i didnt care for this version of baxter. he felt weak and impudent. imo, baxter should be less nerdy goofball and more intelligent scientist with dark undertones.

Well, he could always go from weak to strong later on. This was just his introduction. There's room for growth there with his thirst for revenge. I have a hunch that maybe the Kraang will discover the TCRI building and will start kidnapping those scientists with the help of Stockman. It would be a good point for him to get his revenge that way.

I'm guessing the villains won't be going through much character development in the show. The humans who were turned to mutants will probably always have a grudge against the Turtles and Baxter will likely be shown to be incompetent.

Assuming he doesn't get mutated into a fly later on.

I'm not digging the villians overall, but I must say that this is the best mix of turtle personalities of any turtle incarnation I've watched. Donnie in particular has been given more layers than just "Duz Machines" and Leo isn't just a straight laced leader.

I really like pragmatic (fight for victory/do more harm) Splinter. XD

I do feel very bad for Baxter too. And knowing he's a staple villain, it'll get worse from there.

Finally got a chance to watch this, and it was unimpressive, though it had its funny moments and there was some decent action, but a lot of it was predictable, and it felt a bit dumbed down at times compared to some 2k3 episodes. At least we got to hear Booyashaka for the first time when Mike uses his skateboard. I noticed some girl on the back of the skateboard; who was it?

Overall: 6/10

Second time. Mikey says it in the 1st episode.

Why is everyone comparing this to the 2K3 Series? This is the kind of stuff that made Ciro get off the forum, so then why are you still continuing? Just enjoy the show and stop being a bunch of stupid nitpickers!

Because the new will always be compared to the old. Nick just has the misfortune of 2 shows to be compared too,
