Easter Egg Hunt

One of the more enjoyable aspects of this show is all the Easter Eggs in each episode. I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread where we can collect them.

So, if you find an Easter Egg, drop it in this basket.

Been meaning to make this thread myself, actually, I as I noticed this Mutagen Man cameo the other day...
The comic book on the right-hand side, bottom corner. There's no doubt about it, it's Mutagen Man.

Obvious references to past TMNT incarnations:

1. Mike's 80's toon face was shown when he joked about getting a tattoo on his face.

2. Mikey saying, "That was us!" during the origin tale in episode 1 was a throwback to his Movie 1 line.

3. Don asking, "Is that the Shredder?" followed by Raph's, "Well its definitely A Shredder," felt like a 2k3 reference of there being multiple Shredders.

4. The Kraang have their name inspired by Krang himself.

While this was already mentioned, I figured I throw an egg myself:

Wolf Hotel a nod to Fred Wolf, an executive producer to the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

I love the idea of this thread... Some of these are not so much easter eggs and just bits of trivia.

Ciro has said the guy on the pizza box is modeled after his father who owned and operated a pizza shop when he was growing up.
Spoiler:

Another use of that comic
Spoiler:

I know this one is an obvious one... But here it is compared to its comic version
Spoiler:

The Shop owner that April tricks information out of by pretending to be undercover is actually located just a block away from her father's shop... because we can see it on the next street over.
Spoiler:

if I remember correctly in one of the episodes we can see Shredder looking out his window and there seems to be buildings with the same decorative windows as the building as April's neighborhood.. indicating Shredder is probably operating nearby.

NES inspired controller
Spoiler:

Movie poster inspired by two different Star Trek films.. ST one and search for Spock.
Spoiler:

Don't forget Mr. Murakami.

And a possible reference to Prof. Honeycutt.

You know good and well them referring to Shredder as, "a" Shredder, when that has never been done before in any other series, felt like a reference. There probably won't be any other Shredders in the Nick show, so it felt like a reference to me.

He meant a shredder referring to all the metal and blades he was wearing. He who shreds. Stop reaching.

April wearing a yellow shirt is probably a nod to the OT, while the red hair is due to it being her standard hair color in animation now.

Just be thankful April never had curly black hair like in the early mirage comics in the shows.

They also mentioned Baxter worked in the TCRI building. Hopefully that wasn't just a throwaway line.

Would love to see the Utroms in the TCRI building and then have them battle the Kraang.

Cube stop being a dummy. This is for subtle nods, not recurring themes.

The TCRI name-dropping could be nothing more than an Easter egg. It depends if the writers actually do anything with it.

Mutated pigeon's name was Pete, like Mikeys pet pigeon in 1987 series. (episode: What's Michelangelo good for)
