I think I should have rephrase what I posted. I mean, we would be getting characters from the 1987 - 1996 series since I don't know who is officially confirmed to appear or like Irma, make cameo appearances.


I'm not sure if they will show April going to school or not (although back of the figure's blister card it says that she may not fit in school with her peers) but they could just be friends. I'm not sure what direction they will take both April and Irma's friendship, since in the 1987 - 1996 series they became friends through work.

If she does become a regular, I would imagine they give her klutziness since that's a major part of her characteristics.

I assumed (and again this was my assumption) that if she and Vernon and Burne were to be regulars, April would have worked at Channel 6 ( in season two), maybe as an intern. Burne would be her boss and I assume Vernon and Irma would be April's age. But again, I really don't know and I'm keeping an open minded to whatever interpenetration they are going to give her. I know the creators don't want to take everything from the OTS since they want to leave room for reference, homages for the 1984 comic, 2003 series, the films and new stuff.

Honestly, I don't look for the references or Eater Eggs when I watch the show. It's only the second time that I do (just like when I saw Wreck -It Ralph). The episodes are so well done, I love the characters, the humor, etc. that I'm immersed in them and don't pay attention. That's how you know you have a great show on your hands.

Well, I adhere to "there are no bad characters just writers" mantra.

If Venus can be used and become a solid character I see no reason why she shouldn't return.

I know a lot of people hate Venus, for whatever reason. I personally like her (she's not my favorite character but I do like her). Personally I can see her in this new incarnation but I do agree that the chances of seeing her appear is very, very slim.

I can see her as a young sister to the Turtles. She has a Toph, of Avatar: The Last Airbender attitude, can be klutzy (ruin Donnie's inventions not on purpose though) and or begs Ralph to play with her, while he shoves his magazine in his face and tries to ignore her. She falls asleep when Leo is talking to her or doesn't listen to him, and drags Mikey to play with her.

I also can see her a bass ass type of character. Think of Michonne from The Walking Dead.

hell no. It would be New Mutation all over again. The TMNT have a real hard time of even touching Dogpound. I don't want Alice de Milo to suddenly jump in and hand Dogpound his tail and make the rest of the Turtles look like crap in comparison.

I guess if the writers could redo her entire character it could work... the writing thus far has been spectacular... but I'm iffy on anything from the TNMT being in TMNT since it is one of the most universally hated things in the TMNT fandom hell the creators (or one of them) despised her so much he had made it his mission she would never ever show up again.. though Nick could do anything they want since they own the entire franchise now...

But I guess Irma might become a regular it would be nice seeing more good human characters in the show... besides Casey and April...

Trust me, it ain't gonna happen. Like I said, we won't see Venus in any TMNT incarnation for a very, very, very long time or heck maybe even never. I mean it was just something I thought up, as I'm sure many on here have thought of several other past characters interacting with the 2012 incarnation, but for those who despise her will have nothing to worry about. Heck, I don't even think Ciro likes her.

I have to say at this moment I was thinking 'Just a phone??? April has the Turtles' numbers on it!!! They can be tracked that way!!!' but everyone kinda carried on like it's just a phone. No biggie. But hey, it's April's phone. So let's get it back. NOW!!

I was under the impression that had not the Turtles insisted for the phone, the Purple Dragons/Dogpound would not realized how important it was. For all they know it was just a random phone they stole from some kid and would most likely sold away w/o even looking into it.

Oh, and the writer of that episode said in his tumblr account that was Mikey's shuriken that put the hole on that isotope spray, but was not included (him throwing it) in the final cut for some reason.

Hmm interesting. It's been a long day and I couldn't remember exactly who threw the shuriken at the spray.

As for the phone I don't know. I still say with the stakes involved, the Turtles' secrecy and all that, at least Don should have mentioned the risk of them being found out either by the Purple Dragons, the Shredder or some random person that phone would have been sold to due to the fact that April has their numbers on it. It's a small risk, but not one they should ignore, especially with Shredder and his men on the look-out for them.

The last two episodes have been a couple of my favorites so far, but it seems like the Krang and their mutagen threat have all but disappeared. Maybe they will return next week when we see the introduction of Leatherhead!

Well the episode finally hit iTunes a few hours ago. Have to say, it was a great one! This episode had everything: lots of great action, healthy dose of humor, new enemies, and yes even some plot developments which is exactly what I love to see happening. I didn't feel this ep was lacking in any way, it even had some new music in it.

Mousers look great! Yeah we saw their design a while ago, but they look fabulous in motion. Love the inside of their mouths, all those glowing lines. Nice sound effect too, it sounds like they took screaming cat sounds and altered it. It works perfectly and is easily identifiable. If you ever hear that sound off-screen you'll instantly know its them.

Looks like Baxter will be building Fishface's lower body, no surprise but I like how they got him to the Shredder. The flow of the story was perfect. Actually I'm really impressed with how much they packed into this 24 minutes, it felt a lot beefier than other episodes. All the a-team, b-team stuff, April slowly starting her training process, all cool.

I wish we could see Splinter doing more than just hanging in the lair and espousing wisdom. When can we see him fight! I want to see what he looks like WITHOUT the robe, come on Nick! Or at least show his lower body more -- in other TMNT iterations you can clearly see his rat feet and legs and tail, which looks cool. Splinter would look great in action. I just really wish they would emphasis his rat features more, both in appearance as well as other ways (what other rat-like natures has he taken on as a result of his mutation, there must be some). They are definitely going the Yoda route, where he is very passive at all times and we'll probably only see him fight once a season or so. I get that, but I'm getting anxious!

Overall the writing, animation (lots of great new movements on the turtles, plus the mouser stuff), every aspect is as best as it's ever been in this ep.

Seems as though NO ONE catched the Episode at 11 yesterday! Seriously, people thought it was just another rerun! Most of them on twitter apparently 'missed' the Episode. Shame really, cause the ratings are gonna get a huge drop unless the kids save it but even then, that's highly doubtful since they were probably watching the Spongebob Special! We'll see the ratings on Tuesday (Hoping 3 million atleast) but My question for now is:

Did anyone watch the premiere of 'Mousers Attack' at 10/11 on Saturday?
