Should Irma actually show up?

In one of the episodes there was a throw-away gag of Irma being on April's phone before it was destroyed. Now it was probably just an easter egg for older fans, but would you want her to actually show up?

Irma seems to be a classmate of April's in this show, and it would raise the female character count by 1.

Considering April has no on-screen friends in this show, it might not be a bad idea to introduce Irma to give her one other human friend to talk to.

As it is April seems to have no connection in the human world outside her father and her off-screen Aunt.

Almost feels like her world is boxed in by the Turtles.

Sure. Just so long as she's not always there. A once in a while appearance would be awesome, though.

I would like to see Irma. She is one of my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle characters. It would be cool to so how they would interpret her.

Hopefully the addition of Casey Jones in S2 will help with Aprils's human interaction. I personally never liked the Irma character and hope they don't add her.

I watch the show for the Ninja Turtles. I don't really care about April and her friends. Isn't that what everyone was whining about when Viacom got the franchise? That they'd make it into a show about April in high school?

eh why not. at least for shot scenes. hell, the Gauntlet could have had a second of April waving goodbye to Irma before she turned around and was bothered by Pigeon Pete.

Its called expanding the shows universe. We don't see April interact with ANYONE in the outside world. Even her Aunt that she's supposedly living with right now has never been shown.

Why the hell do you think we saw so much of the Channel 6 news crew in the old show? They didn't have to create Irma/Vernon in the first place...they were created to show who April was actually working with and what she was doing in her life outside the Turtles.

And of course I'm not suggesting Irma becoming a major character. Maybe just 2-3 appearances a season.
