You guys posting in this thread would probably be interested in this TMNT Toy Photo Contest I'm running through Tuesday. The prize is a pretty amazing poster by artist Christopher Lee.

I just used some wire I had to make little stands, his was the first and for some reason I thought a spring would give him more stability. The ones for Leo and mike are better

Some of it, like the foot stool and the crate, are just random little bits of stuff I cherry picked from piles my niece had set aside for a yard sale. Some of the drinking glasses are -- I think -- Barbie or similar doll stuff, but Donatello's is a mechanical pencil eraser cap, and April's is a carefully trimmed ink pen cap. The folding chair and ladder came with some extremely generic wrestling action figures from Dollar Tree. The table is really just a facial cleanser lid balanced on a film roll canister. The pizza I made myself from stuff like craft foam and plastic sawdust, and the pizza pan is the lid to one of those little containers of cream glaze that comes in a refrigerated roll of cinnamon buns. |
