Color Classics to be collected in hardcover - Page 3

I wish this collected 1-11 and the four micro series, sure it would have been a bigger book and they would have to wait to release it, but the fact that this is essentially the $5 dvd version of the Ulimate Collection Volume One is more than a little ridiculous

Probably because they didn't color the rest of those issues yet. The Leonardo micro doesn't come out till next month or so.

Hence the line "they would have to wait to release it"

I know that they haven't been released yet, but to double dip or Quadruple dip on issue 1-7 and the Raphael Micro series again seems like a waste to me

I get the feeling the original idea of the color classic singles were aimed at new readers picking up the IDW series who didn't want to pay $30 for an Ultimate collection but still wanted to check out some of the issues.

However the color classics sold poorly, so IDW is trying to make some extra money off the concept. I don't blame them for that, its better that they make money off of this so they continue the collections we actually want.
