Something I found on amazon

I just wanted to ask you guys if you know anything about these on amazon

http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant...=IPYVUQM3BCGLP

http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant...=I1GNOQFP5EZS1

These are actually collected books of the 2003 TMNT comics, right? and by the looks I'm not sure, is it 3 chapters a volume?

I just want to know before I purchase it

I'm not sure what these are, but one reviewer describes the first volume as having issues 1-5, and the second having issues 6-10. The Dreamwave series only went to issue 7 though...

Yep they're the Dreamwave collected books.

Pretty sure Vol 1 is #1-4 which adapted the first 4 episodes of the series from the points of view of different characters and Vol 2 is #5-7 which was a new story arc.

The series ended at 7 but they had been planning an arc called Turtle Terminator so some of the prelim art for that is included in Vol 2 as a bonus.

I have vol 1, and it's the 1st 4 issues.

That's right. I have volume 2 of it, and it has a lot of the preliminary stuff for what would have been the next arc, which would have focused on the turtle-bot character. It sounds like it would have been pretty cool as well.

That's actually pretty ironic that you're asking about these since I was just thinking about them last night. I only have issues #2 and #4 and I was wanting to complete the set when I found these and figured it'd just be cheaper to buy these collected volumes rather than the rest of the actual issues one by one. I wasn't entirely sure about how many issues there actually were though since I read the same review that stated it had #6-#10 in them and I got a little confused.

Yes, book 2 collects #5-7, synopses for #8-10 + plus sketches, script excerpts and cover gallery (only #1-5 & 7, there's no #6 cover for some reason, IIRC).

just got volume 2 in the mail...I like it, enjoyed #5 the most, didn't really care much for the art style of the comic, any reason why it was cut off so short?

I would also like to know the answer to this. I found the covers were AMAZING. Some of the best covers of ANY TMNT books.

Aside from having really cool covers and some pretty neat art most of the stories were just pulled from the show with a twist (like the first one being told through the eyes of a cop and Purple dragon, or another with Baxter) and weren't that great. Paired with the fact that sales were bad was an early termination waiting to happen.
