I would also love to have it. That's crazy they used the exact mold for something that makes even less sense. It'd be like having a pizza thrower MISB.

With the price of April skyrocketing plus having extras I decided to pull the trigger on this. Also thinking of trying to make my own foot clan army and/or kraang army for whenever I decide to display all my stuff!

Fair deal?

Seems fair. Plus you get the 4 basic loose turtles, which are nice.

Dont know if anyone was watching eBay this morning but it was a show:

1989 Genghis Gold Belt On MOC - $204
1988 Fan Club Don MOC - $136
1988 Fan Club Leo MOC - $152
1988 Bebop MOC MOC - $116

The turtle market is so funny right now, so volatile.

Were these Toys R Us preview issues to the 4kids series rare? I see them up a lot of times but I never bothered to bid for them:

Yeah I tried to get that Don and Leo to upgrade the ones I already have. Figured I could sell my lower grade ones to make up some of the difference. But they still went too high for me. That Genghis surprised me..highest I've ever seen it go for.

It seems like when an auction tends to end on the lower end of the value the bidder more often than not comes from a red state, whereas a blue state comes from higher-end auctions, and this is not just for TMNT. For example, I sold a Killerbee/Needlenose/1989 Baxter all lose for $32 to a Belgain buyer, a Soft Head Michelangelo loose for $10 to someone from WA state, a set of the three RTNY Vol. 1 comics for $12.50 was sold to a bidder in Chicago, whereas a set of 13 Vol. 1 comics in nice condition only sold for $14.99 to someone from Greensboro, NC (conservative city), and a set of 7 DVDs for $12.50 to someone in Louisiana.

That Toys 'R' Us preview issue isn't hot since its too recent to be "vintage looking" and it suffers from the 4kids' middle child syndrome in interest. That said, when you find that Ravishing Reporter April for $10.95 is the cheapest MOC figure on the market, $13 for the cheapest non-April/non-mini figure (Nick Raph), $14.40 for the cheapest non-April/non-mini 4kids era figure MOC (Jammerhead), $15.29 for the cheapest non-April vintage figure MOC (Walker), and $16.99 for the cheapest non-April/non-Movie III vintage figure MOC (Tattoo), its clear that the bar is set pretty high in this current market, and careful searching is a must.

Me too. I recognized the high bidder as a dealer, so im not sure what he/she will price it at.

I wonder what your belt off version would sell for today, i remember it went for $150 about 4 months ago. I can only imagine what bagged grenades would bring at auction.

This Raphael spacesuit marble amuses me given how small it is:
