They'll probably go to Dimension X in season 2. Remember the 4kids series had them go into space in the Season2 opener, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happens in this show.

You are probably right, but that moment seemed perfect for doing it. Since the break was just after that ep, for the longest time I thought they had winded up on DX. I was pretty disappointed when the next one aired.

Yea but keep in mind they're heavily drawing concepts from the Fred Wolf cartoon, and in that series the Turtles never actually went to Dimension X until season 4. I could see them going there perhaps in season 3.

Why would they wait another 2 years to explore Dimension X? This show is set-up with continuing storylines, if they're introducing it now its probably going to happen come Season 2.

Its far more likely to see some sort of outer space/dimension X story next season then putting it off for another 2 years. This isn't the original cartoon.

Keep in mind the head Kraang is showing up in the season finale. This will likely take place in dimension X.

Well judging by the Nick writers interest in Wingnut/Screwloose, we should see some Dimension X adventures.

I'm still wondering if we will see the Neutrinos. I never expected to see them again but with IDW using them I suppose Nick might too.

I'm starting to think we might see a version of the Mutanimals. We've already seen concept art for Wingnut and Screwloose, who have strong ties to dimension X. What if Leatherhead frees other test animals from Kraang labs and forms them into his own team of freedom fighters?

That would be awesome. Here's how I imagined the Nick Mutanimals would be:

Wingnut and Screwloose

Leatherhead

A rebuilt Metalhead

Muckman: a failed Kraang experiment

Mondo Gecko

Ace Duck

Jagwar

Ray Fillet

Dreadmon

Quarry (and maybe the other diggers)

and Pigeon Pete

That is certainly something that he could be doing right now.

Does anyone have an image of the Neutrinos from the IDW comic. Very curious to see what they look like.

mabey dx is a planet that is aeons old and it's lava through a complex radiation process turned to mutagen. which the kraang want as a war weapon. But have taken to much and the dimenson x is about to implode on it's self with no core. the kraang then attacked the neutrinos for the teleporter device and stole it from Fugtiod when he was human. Then they started moving to earth because it's a new more stable planet, and the Kraang that we see a gentically modified Kraang charged with the task of making earth habitable for the Kraang. Oh, and they drilled a whole in they earth to make the lava able to be tampered with till it became muatagen. Ok that summed up the Kraang invasion.

Here is a good shot of the trio.Pretty much the same. Kala is just too muscular. Otherwise similar and great look.

Its the characters who also got toys and appeared in the OT or videogames, like Mondo Gecko, Wingnut/Screwloose, Ray, Merdude, Armaggon that people recognize.

This is on top of the fact that Archie reprints only just started at IDW, unlike the DVDs of the cartoons which have been out for a while.
It disgusts me how Merdude, War, and freaking Tattoo are more remembered than Ninjara.

I hope that Wasp creature in the next episode is from Dimension X and not a mutant. Though I am not tired of mutants I would just like to see what else is from this incarnation's version of Dimension X.
