I'd rather they stay away from "magic" as an explaination, usually comes across as unimaginative. That being said, I trust Tom to make it work, if that is the direction we are headed in.

Another thing about the A cover is that the turtle that appears in the yellow tape seems to be leo, thus implying that his turn to the other side won't be as seamless as we think.

Btw, I really dig the kitsune theory. It seems very likely that that's what's gonna happen. Though as I mentioned before, the A cover also features a beat up leo (at least I think it's leo... the mask seems to fit). Kitsune holding his mask might just be a signal that she was the one that took him down and nothing else. But if leo's snap is due to magical/supernatural reasons though, I think there is no doubt that Kitsune will be involved with it.

Well, I'd appreciate it. The Foot Mystics (among others) used magic all the time. Hell, it's a big part of the Mirage turtles mythos.

I'm thinking Kitsunes magic is more ooze based. She may have learned from Krang how to manipulate it or perhaps she got very lucky in her own mutation. The only magic we've seen is reincarnation which is a theological thing. I hate to sound like Donatello but we don't really know magic exists in this universe
