I almost believe they may have thought of that since one of his hands looks like it could have gripped onto something.

Strongly agree with you man! You have to admire the OT figures... their sculpts were great for the time they came out, had good paint jobs, AND came with accessories! Even if the accessories were fully unpainted, it was still a great bonus.

Since playmates insists on keeping the price on these figures so low, I think we are really out of luck on getting anything special in terms of accessories, articulation or paint :/ This is why I keep hoping they will do a collector's line for the Nick stuff. There seems to be a pretty strong adult following on the show, and we've seen other properties like Transformers do high-end figures. Maybe after the live action movie comes out we'll start to see more variety as more people are brought into the fandom.

Anyway yeah if people on the east coast start finding wave 4 then everyone should have a chance. Course it always depends on the store and the timing of their restock orders. My local Target has a bunch of wave 2 and 3 stuff which I hope they were able to clear out over the last 4 days. I'll be checking in the morning. It was raining so I didn't do a lot of hunting on Sunday.

I just bought the Nicktoons Basic Figures of Donatello, Raph and Mikey (We were out of the Leonardos...) and boy am I pleased!

The figures are of a nice weight, color and detail. I love the figures size differences that correspond to each turtle (i.e. Donnie being tallest and Mikey being shorter the the others) I am also digging the different skin tones.

I also love the weapons/shuriken that come with the figures! So far my favorite is Donnies three part staff.

Overall these things are great! I give them an 8/10.

Cool Le0. Try to track down Leo, the four basic turtles are must-haves IMO. And they are inexpensive enough that most fans can afford to get them.

Yeah I'm actually going to do some detective work tomorrow and look through our computer to find if we have anymore in the district.

And at 8 bucks a pop with my discount they're super affordable.

I went to Toys "R" Us in Staten Island and they had just restocked the figures before I came in. They had the fours turtles, 1 Dogpound and 1 Foot Solider but that was it. No Leatherhead, Baxter or Snakeweed.

A question for folks who are buying (whatever they can) of the basic figures and keeping them MOC. Are you having trouble finding figures where the card isn't damaged, dented, or messed up ? Both Dogpound and Foot Solder's card (I bought them, considering they very hard to find where I am) had dents and bents on them. Will they still be worth money if the card is not totally destroyed ?

Makes me think it's better off by Leatherhead, Baxter and Snakeweed, Rocksteady and Bebop online considering these figures fly off the shelves quickly.

Usually if I don't find the figures I'm looking for, they would usually have them in the TRU in the Bronx right in white plains. Thank god my sister lives a few blocks away from TRU!
I'm gonna begin my search this week at Target near me and the 2 TRU's. last resort would be the one in the Bx.

I agree tho, the 4 basic turtles are awesome, just got them myself. I had an issue with a poor paint mask on Mikey, so sent him back and will get the replacement soon. Hopefully with better paint work. Not sure I will branch further than the 4 tho.

Um, texas at one point is next to oklahoma and mainly under oklahoma....mexico is under texas.

Pretty sure RK comes with a staff judging by the back of the package. Also, he was seen with a couple of plastic rat minions in the toy show displays, so those might be included.

That sucks my Mikey came perfect. And its funny because as soon as got them home I carefully removed them and the weapons from package, bagged up the shurikens and naginata, hooked swords for Raph and Mikeys overabundance of shuriken.

I then got these guys armed for battle and posed them atop my TV for viewing pleasure

To be perfectly honest its going to be a pretty long time before the Nicktoons figures are anywhere near collectors items. I just bought them to feed my inner child.

based on your name i'm guessing you got these in denver, co. useful to know the location sometimes.

i know this is a long shot but if anyone can get the inventory code on the Target case box, maybe it would help us track the figures? If the code is different from the codes from past cases. I have no idea if these numbers change when the assortments do or not.

some of you who were figure hunting back when the first wave came out last year may recall the target inventory codes were posted here on the board, and you can go on target.com and find out which stores had the case in the back. this is how I got my figures almost two weeks before most people even saw them on shelves (because most targets were holding them for an isle reset)

thank you man. i will try those. but unfortunately i think it's a number on the outside of the case that holds the figures, not numbers on the individual figures. so there's not much you could do unless you got ahold of the case, which most people can't do.

i'm just putting that request out there because I know we have a few Target employees here

(by the way, google is fast. i searched for that number next to snakeweed on google and it found your post already!)
