Did anyone else here get the 2 disc TMNT 2007 DVD?

Spoiler:

This picture was taken in February and I posted it to my Facebook where I proposed which movie I wanted to watch that night, so excuse the inclusion/framing of Dredd.

I got the Target 2-disc Exclusive of the TMNT movie. I'm curious who else may have gotten it also. It's something I never see anywhere so in my mind it's a unique item.

Also I didn't really know if I should start a new topic or where else I could post about this unique exclusive release.

It's not advertised on either the exclusive artwork sleeve or the actual DVD case (which looks identical to the standard releases).

The disc reads "Behind the Scenes". There is no menu, it's just a more indepth look at the origins of the Turtles as comics and following a phenomenon and leads into the making of the movie past what was already on the main disc.

There is no run time printed anywhere on the case or disc but I would say it's atleast 30min, maybe 45min.

I have it. All the bonusstuff is simply on a seperate disc, there's nothing extra on it.

It's a separate feature, the only feature on the disc titled "Behind the Scenes".
The rest of the features... deleted/alternate stuff, the test footage, side by side storyboard comparisons and so on are all still on the same double sided disc that everyone did buy if they got the movie.

Anyway I'm just curious who has this movie set

I hope this behind the scenes thing is on the Blu-ray I have. Being one of the most anticipated movies of my life, I would have certainly gone all out, had I known a 2-disc set existed. I've never seen one, then or since. Never seen a tin case either.

The Target edition was basically limited to one shipment at each Target store. And only about 5-10 copies per store. If you didn't get it the first week you pretty much didn't get it.

Whatever version Raph has isn't the Target version.

I nabbed it back in the day. I sold it a while back knowing how rare it was but it went for under $10 -_-

Yeah I also got TMNT 2-disc edition at my Target on the first day it came out. I really do like the cover and the extra disc. On the same day I also bought Season 5 of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles original cartoon.

Pics?
Ya we really dont get too many tin/steelbook releases in America. If I find them it's usually used at a record/movie/trade store though.
I see a few stores carry them, like Best Buy had carried a few WB titles in steelbook bluray.
This was the special DVD of TMNT out here. I would love to see the pics you guys have!

Ya I lucked out. I worked at a restaurant across from Target and I was determined to get TMNT on DVD the day it came out so I walked across the street after work. I really dont go to Target much so this was lucky.

I dont own the BluRay so I'm not sure whats on it. It's possible it's on there but at the same time, it may not.
I have the BluRay for the Grindhouse double feature, which is suposed to have all the original movie's features plus new stuff and the fake trailers, but it's still missing a feature that was on a bonus disc in the SteelBook Best Buy exclusive of Planet Terror.

I also have the BluRay of the Speed Racer live action movie and it does have one additional feature more than the DVD I had owned (and that one feature is what "made" the BluRay purchase for me worthwhile) but it's still missing some odd 'lil feature that was exclusive to a limited 2 disc DVD of Speed Racer I also own.

Good luck! I have tried to look for it too, just to see how common it is or how many others have posted on the internet about it. I really dont pull up anything more than the multi-disc sets of all the movies together.
