Did anybody else cringe when the turtles threw their "weapons" at Timothy? I was like "Guys!! You'll puncture his organs!!"

Amazing Episode
The Episode had everything I love about this show and more. The Fight scenes were great, humor was on point and the reveal at the end of the Episode was perfect. I'm really glad they went with this direction and it really makes the show stand out in terms of the villains since Timothy had one of the darkest origins the show has seen so far (The 2D Flashback sequence helps each of these characters stand out and the fact that they already had an Episode devoted to them before they mutated really helps flesh out these characters, and Mutagen Man was no exception.) Overall, Perfect introduction to a new Villain and a great Episode with lots of memorable scenes. (8.9/10) 'Pulverizer Returns' |

Yah, I was thinking that when it was said she is going to live with them. You'd think that the police would be out looking for her since she has just vanished. Missing person reports and all.

Hmm...you do have a point. All the mutations so far were from animals/things/etc. that already weren't mutated or otherwise were animals that were never mutated before. Ie. Shredder's dog, that fish from the shop, a bunch of weeds in a desert, etc. So could that mean that being near something that has already mutated while being mutated will have no real effect on the mutation?

I wonder if we'll ever see a double mutation on this show...Or if we just did. |

@Storm Eagle: I totally agree with you man.
While everyone deals with things differently, I feel personally that this was a very dark episode. As I said, I really feel bad for Timothy. Timothy was young (I'm thinking a teenager) as Storm Eagle said unlike Snake, Vic, Chris Bradford and Xever who were adults. He had his whole life ahead of him. Sure he was thickheaded, but who wasn't as a teenager ? Look, I know he's just a cartoon character and I feel really stupid for feeling that way, but I guess the show is that so damn good that I am growing really attached to these characters. I wasn't hysterically crying, it just left a really bad impression on me. Especially when he looked in the mirror, rubbed his face with his tentacle looked like he was about to cry and like a la Frankenstein, was angry that he looks like a monster. Also the fact that he was screaming the mutagen burns didn't help. I wonder what his parents are going to do being that their son is missing. since he will be living in Donatello's lab. Especially at the end where Leo was saying he got what he wanted and Raph said to keep him in the lab so he wouldnt have to look at him. Cold man...lol.

LOL yeah I was like wow! Donnie was the only to show any compassion. To the others he was basically a pawn.

Even if it's not Donnie's fault(he tried his hardest to stop him!), I can imagine that Timothy's condition is going to weigh on him from now on. Splinter said he was his responsibility after all.

Yep...Donnie is empathetic there. Donnie took Splinter's words to heart about Timothy being his responsibility. It shows a lot about Don's character here. I kept getting reminded of the second movie when Raph and Keno wanted Keno to infiltrate the Foot and Splinter forbade it b/c it would be dangerous to put Keno in that situation. Yet here everyone except Donnie thought it was a great idea.
