Not really. Some designs are lighter in weight and besides who the hell cares. Some people on this sight nit pick WAAAAAAAAAAY 2 much bout the dumbest ****. She's holding them like any other human being would hold them.

Looks like April and Raphael will have a unique connection in this film (assuming the other 3 turtles are captured as suggested by previous set photos). Perhaps an homage to their close ties in the first live-action film?

I'm really curious but also trepidacious to know what a more developed "love triangle" between April-Raph-Casey might have looked like in the original film. If Judith Hoag's various interviews are to be believed, then the original vision for the film was going to play up Raph's protective crush on April.

Funny thing is those are pretty beefy Sai, there design look pretty awesome. Its funny one way I kind judge a movie is there weapon props, at least when it comes to this kind of movie, and Raph's Sai are pretty awesome know i just wanna see The other guy's weapons

what?

Not so heavy a person can't hold them, they are after all meant to block and trap other weapons. Having the Sai too heavy would make no sense.

those are some pretty fancy looking sais. i prefer the old, beat-up sais like what was used in the first movie. they gave a little more grit to the character.

i still cant believe how big those shells are. i'm really interested in seeing the finished product. i wonder if they will resize/adjust the CGI image of the turtles at all.
