From now on whenever I see William Fichtner in any other movie or TV show, I will think of him as, "white Shredder."

I may have to rewatch The Dark Knight Returns again just so I can watch William Fichtner die in the opening sequence when Joker places a grenade in his mouth.

Um; it's just The Dark Knight, not The Dark Knight Returns. That is a Comic and now a Direct to Video from Warner Premier.

Sight unseen, I think this is a terrible idea. Shredder is only my favorite thing about TMNT. I think he's the coolest villain ever. I'm totally open to ones interpretations of the TMNT world but this guy (Fichtner) just doesn't do it for me. I'm REEEAALLLY trying to picture a best-case scenario here.

....hopefully like someone mentioned earlier this'll all be some sort of Iron Man 3-esque twist when it's all said and done.

He seems so nonchalant about his part in the movie. Like it was just a weekend gig type of attitude towards it. What happened to actors embracing their roles with passion and excitement?

Nonchalance is something typical of actors. You don't see Robert Downey Jr. running around, exited be Iron Man in Avengers 2 and 3. It's just the way it works/.
