Heat Seeking Turtle Cycles?
On the TMNT Pedia site under the episode '' Shredder and Splintered'' the Heat Seeking Turtle Cycles are listed as vehicles. What are they and when were they used?
Any help would be appreciate, thanks! |

Isn't the correct name of that episode "The Shredder is Splintered?"

I don't think they were ever used in "Shredder and Splintered". The vehicles in that episode were the Technorovers. As far as I remember the Turtle Seeking Cycle was never seen again on the show or had a toy. I do think it was used the Fall of the Foot Clan game for the Nintendo Game Boy. The motorbike the Foot Soldiers run you over with looked like that vehicle. Although it's been a very long time since I've played that game so I could be remembering that wrongly. Then again the Konami games did seem to use a lot of the one off elements of the first season like the Mousers and the Roadkill Rodneys etc. |

I thought of the episode where Shredder sends missles to destroy the Turtles that rely on sensing their body heat. But the missles fail because turtles are cold-blooded creatures.

That's about the only variation of the episode's title that actually makes sense. All the rest of them are nonsensical yet official, in some sense.

Oh, never mind, this is TMNT science. I've always thought that the title, in all its forms, was just playing on two words that both sounded like the characters' names: "Shredder and Splinter" vs. "Shredded and Splintered". Because, uh, they were prominent cast members in the episode, or something. There's no more or less thought put into it than that.
