Too a point. Season 5 has a full release. As does >>. BttS was released complete in other regions...possibly even the region this was released. If I can just get a good, clean, in order season 1-4 of the 4Kids series, I could retire my individual disc to a closet some where...or a random shelf for the first 2 seasons...since they have that rad spine art.

You do realize 4 seasons was 104 episodes, right? The fact that they're willing to release 104 episodes in one set instead of seperate season sets is amazing.

The second release will likely be Seasons 5-7 and Turtles Forever if we're lucky.

Well, if it is the 2003 series, it's still better than nothing if the episodes are in order and whatnot. And I'd assume it would be followed by the second half eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later.

We'll see. Hopefully it is for that series, and it gets a full US release.

It will most likely get a U.S. release. From what I heard the 4kids series wasn't even popular in the UK, so I doubt they'd only release it there instead of where it was at its most popular.

At this point I'd settle for a US release of BTTS. I could get a region-free player and the imported disc for a total of like $70, but part of me doesn't want to work that hard. I'm a consumer! These companies are supposed to spoil me and kiss my butt!

I think after this comes out we will see a Seasons 5-7 bundled with Turtles Forever (hopefully uncut) after.

I just hope they remember to include all the TMNT shorts and Peach Nova mini's, as well as the Mayhem from Mutant Island shorts.

Actually, that's EXACTLY why people should get excited! It's the only way to introduce newcomers to this Epic series without having to watch or know the very existence of those last few seasons.... *Shudders*

You mean the last seasons that are still decent? Season 5 especially is very important as it ties up the plotlines of the first four seasons.

Yes! How exciting that we're getting an incomplete set! If they're gonna go so far, they might as well include the last two seasons.

Fair enough, but you have to admit it got a little too ridiculous with the Ancient Shredder backstory being this show's failed attempt at a Daoist element and the Human Accolytes were completely pointless! But according to you, my reviews are off-base so whatever...

While Season 5 was a decent finale.... Seasons 6 & 7 however, were.... Abysmal!

I still haven't seen too much of Fast Forward; my memory of it is almost nil. I'm intrigued by the venom it gets. I can't imagine it could be as bad as everyone says. One of these days I should do a marathon run. I'm just discouraged by not having the ending (BTTS).

The very premise should tell you that the writers were just out of ideas!

Eh. I'm down to give almost anything a shot. What hasn't been done with TMNT, by now?

I know my opinions is basically worth squat here, but I agree that you should give it a try. I was hesitant myself since I too heard so much backlash against it, so I was quite surprised at how much I wound up enjoying it. The first watch through I was still off-put that this was such a new world and I held it against it, but once I stopped being an idiot and started viewing it as it's OWN thing, I found how much fun it really is, especially the Dark Turtles and their entire story line.

Ah, c'mon, everybody's opinion counts for something. As long as it's how they feel and not what someone else told them to say.

I'll see it eventually, it's been sitting on my shelf forever, I just keep wanting to run through the whole series and stuff keeps coming up.

I enjoyed Fast Forward & Ninja Tribunal more than the rest of the series, personally.

If your open to new things and something completely different then you'll most likely enjoy it. I personally felt it came way out of left field and didn't feel 'TMNT' at all! Specifically 4Kids TMNT that is....

It was way too convoluted and didn't progress central themes or dynamics any further than they already had!

After you adjust to FF's animation style and ignore the, "It's Ninja Time" battle cry, the actual episodes aren't much different than the older seasons.

The villains of FF were its high points, as by then Shredder/Karai/Foot got redundant and the show needed new villains.

Am I the only one who loves "It's ninja Time?"

Well it seems that listing is a false alarm. People figure its just a collection of 4 Nick DVDs released in one bundle for the UK.
