N.a.m.b.l.a.? Richard Simmons ? The artist formerly known as Michael Jackson? Un unspecified number of priests? An odd doctor working on cloning people from their skid marks?

The guy probably 'bought' his own auction to mess with the market. Lots of shady ish goes down on ebay these days. That dude was here just a week or so ago trying to find out its worth, and when told, he didn't care and listed it for $400...

They are defiantly not worth that much. So either Powder is correct or someone got hosed. I could have just bought one for 100$ after shipping and i consider that a little high.

Maybe... The cheapest one that has sold in recent ebay history is for $69.95. The only other one that sold (other than the one in question) was listed as a BIN or Best Offer for $999.99 and they accepted the best offer (to which amount we are not privy). IMO the latter transaction appears to me to be more likely the "padding the market" transaction. Especially since it is a more recent account and looks much less professional.

At any rate, the cheapest one available right now is $79.05 so I suppose the $40 mark referenced earlier has now been upped... Oh eBay, how you play with our delicate collector's hearts!

**Edit** Also, the guy who tried selling it at $400.00 has a ton of Muppets and TMNT NIB figures and every single one is at the top of retail, so I'm assuming he is playing the numbers game of "If I only sell one, I'll still get a lot". Only the shredder and one other Muppet figure have sold in the last 15 days. The only other stuff he's actually sold recently is little nickle and dime stuff.

Some Unique TMNT Collectibles on eBay

I have a couple TMNT related things on eBay for auction right now. One is a Cast & Crew jacket
http://www.ebay.com/itm/290975415760...84.m1558.l2649

and the other is an original painting of Raphael by famed comic book artist Rich Buckler

Just for future reference, this thread isn't for personal auctions. You can list them in the buying/selling/trading section, though!

Sorry, it looked like the closest thing. I'll start a new thread over there.

This is not a custom, I've already asked the seller. It is brand new in package. Has anyone else see these yet?

I've seen those... was thinking about getting them, but it's next to impossible to track down all 4 without spending a fortune... I found one listing for 4, but one turtles was in there twice (I think there were 2 Raphaels or something like that). It's a hard thing to complete- whether it be time or money!

That was the first I'd seen of them.

If memory serves when they came out they weren't kept in the same section as the action figures... I believe they were in the Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars section- probably explains why you hadn't seen them...?

Prolly just a bootleg of the new '88 classics. That's my guess, anyway.

Bootleg? Looks exactly like the real thing.
Here's the new shredder with the weird angled feet.
