Those three figures look amazing, but seriously aww man I think Snakeweed just lost his title for being the tallest figure in the line to Squirrelanoid. That Squirrel looks like he could be 6 or 7 inches tall at this rate. I definitely think new boxes are in order as i see none of them fitting in the regular boxes.

We will, one day soon me thinks.

The second season should be starting this month if all goes according to schedule. Mind you, I expected a bluray set out by now.. A little disappointed we don't have it.
I think there is one more batch of figures to come from the originally scheduled playmates line up. Then... The next batch ( hopefully no gremlins ).

He would have made a really good build-a-figure choice. Alas Playmates seems to have no interest in this concept

besides, BAF parts don't come free, they have to be factored into the total cost of producing/shipping/etc the figures. At 8.99 MSRP, many retailers already charge 10.99 (or 11.99 on amazon) for these figures... and for the quality we are seeing, I don't want to see the prices go any higher. I would rather them focus on improving the quality of the paint and articulation than add BAF parts.

I meant more the bare bones paint apps. That's Playmates MO.

What exactly is wrong with Mutagen Man? I think he looks great, especially the translucent limbs. The only missing paint app I can see is the pink lines on the robotic body part...but that's it.

Playmates did once almost attempt a build-a-figure with Cyber Splinter... but he was standard size. Not to mention canceled. That was toward the end of the line when their dumbf**kery was on full throttle.

Looks ke he has some kind of light up thing, it would be od for hime to have an inside part in the body and no way to see it.

Maybe the legs and arm are that snotty translucent plastic so the light goes through there too.

I wish they would move that bat and the other thing apart at first it looked like it was the same figure, weird camer angles.

Anyone thing we will see any of those other basics that were on the Wal-Mart list?

.....like I've said, like, 10 times...not everything has to be like it used to be. This Mutagen Man's design is very different from the original's, so it doesn't "fail" in comparison.
