I know, right! Aside from the lack of any other TMNT characters (why no Krang or Tokka, Razhar, Bebop, Rocksteady, or Hun? And why are there THREE rabbids? Do anyone even like their games?!)

Personally, I like the gameplay, but the character selection could certainly use some work. The missions = RAAAAAAAGE. And the Wi-Fi thing... Idk, I hardly ever use it. No one does, so I never get a fight

Utrominator was actually referred to by the development crew as "the Krang character." I guess Utrominator was about as much as Mirage was willing to okay for the game roster? The THREE Rabbids, on the other hand...

Been wanting to play someone badly. Offline is impossible because nobody takes this game seriously. And Online, I can't ever find anybody.

Would be awesome(ly unrealistic) if we could kick up a tournament sometime, perhaps as we wait for TMNT: Ouf of the Shadows to premiere.

Would love to test my skill against human players. CPUs tend to get boring overtime. (Not as boring as Brawl's for some reason though).
It would be great to play online in this title, unfortunatly, I've got the PS2 version, and (besides that it is probably not possible to play in multi between two different consoles) as I see, this version doesn't have an online multiplayer Pity, I didn't know (before buying) that in PS2 version they cut-off the online multi.

And about the game itself - well, I didn't expect anything more than clone of Super Smash Bros with TMNT characters and I wasn't disappointed or surprised. You can still spent a time in a pleasure way with this game, even with all of its lacks. There is quite nice variety of stages and characters, but some of them are totally missed - especially rabbids and the strange utrominator. I don't know if the mixing of various TMNT "types" (most of characters looks like from the TMNT 2007 Movie, Shredder looks like from 2K3 series, and the cut-scenes looks like from Mirage Comic) was intentional, but if it was, well, I wish it would be solved in other way. More characters known from comic and TV series, bigger cohesion of in-game appearence of characters (for example another appereance of Shredder - in this game he is the human, and the "Ch'rell Shredder's figure was missed.

Pity, that it wasn't relased for PC (ok, I know that we don't expect this kind of games on PC, but on the other hand, the Mutant Melee was relased on PC, and still, it is my private opinion ).

By the way (while I've mentioned about Mutant Melee) - it would nice, if Konami could make something like Sega did - "re-relased" their elder games (as they've done with many Sonic games, never previously relased on PC), which can be nowadays bought without any trouble on steam and many other "digital-shops". It would be really great, to play once more in all of these old TMNT games

The game is based on the 2003 series and the 2007 movie...why would they be there?

It was based almost entirely on the 4th movie, it just had 2k3 voices and Fugitoid.

Love fighting games, so I should check this one out some time. I wish we'd get a newer TMNT fighter with interactive environments and all. I'd love a huge roster with characters from all incarnations. Yeah Never understood why they added 3 rabbids in this thing. Crazy! Gotta love marketing. Amazon probably has used copies dirt cheap, so gonna justify getting this for myself some time soon.

I think the problem with the roster being so disappointing (other than eschewing a turdload of characters that should have very well made the cut, plus the three Rabbids thing) was that all of the interviews and promotional blogs made it seem as if they were looking at the entirety of the franchise for characters, and so there was a chance for everyone's favorite characters from past incarnations were fair game.

Meanwhile it's 2014 and we still don't have any official games where Bebop and Rocksteady are playable. At least Krang can be played with a cheat device in Genesis Tournament Fighters and seems as if he was supposed to be all along.

You make a valid point there. I completely forgot about that.

Aw, I wish you could fight in the technodrome! That'd be one sweet arena. Nice nod to the 87 show though. Think I remember reading something about this on one wiki page or another way back now that you guys brought it up.

So I haven't played this game in a while and remembered completing all of the challenges. (not sure if i'll get flamed for this but) How do you unlock the Rabbids?
Actually nevermind. I just looked it up and would have never guessed...

It's a fun game, but it gets old extremely fast.

As a random note, I did finally pick up the official Gameguide this weekend for $4. Man... even the guide pretty much admits that Raphael is an all-around weak character. I wonder why the developers decided to balance his stats so low?

I like this game more than most folks, but does this 2009 release still warrant a "Sticky" status?

Egads, that's way more than I've seen it at in the last few years!
