I really felt the same thing a little bit...but for now I just want to trust the team to-again- be better than we give them credit for in the beginning..
sure would be nice if the turtles all progress a lil and we dont get the same old type of jokes over and over again..

I hope this show lasts longer than 3 seasons. Out of all the animated stuff on TV, I think it's the best thing going right now. Nic was wise to order so many episodes. Then again I'm just greedy and friggin love this show.

Totally agree! Mutagen Man has to be one of the most disturbing characters in animation. I've honestly had a few nightmares about this version of the character. My word, that mutation scene. That doesn't stop me from looking forward to his role in season 2.

As for the narrator of the new trailer, wondering if it's some no name kid we're never going to see in the show at all. Just there to get the kids' attention maybe? I'd like to believe it's Irma though.

Yeah once I reread all those positive news spots online my cancelation phobia tends to shut itself off for a while. Maybe with the success of this show, other writers will wise up and get aboard the more mature cartoons bandwagon. Aside from this one, not much else for a lover of Superhero cartoons to watch. Too many shows involving characters running around making no sense at all. But yeah, pumped for Oct 12!

A few days late, but hey... Mutation Day come but once a year, so what else can I say than, "BOOYAKASHA!!"

Yeah. I don't know how or why, but I've been really excited to see Mutagen Man... Well, I am a fan of "Science gone wrong" stories, so maybe that has something to do with it. Seeing him in action, it's like something out of a horror movie. Honestly they could have used this guy for the Halloween special and it would have fit perfectly.

Though, looking back on his mutation, I'm actually a little underwhelmed with THE transformation.
The build up was great, and the aftermath is disturbing, but the actual mutation wasn't all that disturbing. If they had done something like with Snakeweed, where you see his silhouette or his shadow begin to deteriorate while it loses it's human shape and sprouts out tentacles as his garbled cries for help turn to garbled up screeches
Or maybe in a few shots, you see his eyes bulging out and his body releasing steam.


... That might be pushing the PG rating.

Are you kidding? That would have been friggin awesome to see. But yeah, kids would probably have nightmares about all the melting flesh and such. But I get the feeling that the writers are certainly pushing to make this guy as scary as they can. That's good since I for one love the horror genre. Also can't wait for the Squirrelanoid since I like the homage the writers are paying to Xenomorphs.

Does anyone know if Mutation Situation is going to be a single episode or two-parter?

I always hoped the premiere of season 2 would be a two-parter because it was the start of a new season, but now I'm not sure anymore.
