If they already name-dropped the name for a different character, chances are Wingnut isn't going to show up. Remember he only had character sketches, its entirely possibly they scraped the idea to bring the character in after they decided to change Kirby into a bat.

Not sure if anyone else caught it but Casey was also added to the intro, right before the Turtles climb to the rooftop at the end. He looks pretty bad ass.

Wow, I couldn't resist glancing over the spoilers and my eye caught what happened at the end. I didn't expect the story to go that way. It seems it will be a great opening and set up episode for this season.

avoiding spoilers... but wanting to see the ep. I have no xbox (nor do I want one), but I checked the Nick app on Windows 8 and it's not on there

Guess there is no other way to watch it currently?

My guess is no and that they will meet him in dimension x when they find Leatherhead and he will tell them his name and Mikey will be like seeeee guyyss!!

It's not like they can't have 2 Bat characters.
And Wingnut has been an alien in every other version of the TMNT so what's not to say he wont be this time around.

I can see it happening like you say, with Wingnut telling them his name and Mikey saying "see", but I can also see him telling them his name is, for example, Smith, and Mikey saying, "I'm gonna call you Wingnut."

It's an ok episode not a very strong start but then again I said the same for Rise of the Turtles so that might change. Did Mikey act strangely like his 2k3 counterpart to anyone? Unnecessary taunting, Boasting constantly of his skills (in his defense so was everyone else)
