So far he seems like a creepy jerk that's coming on too strong to April. I assume we'll eventually see 'he's a jerk with a heart of gold' and all that jazz.

Given how un-phased everyone but Donnie was to his mutation, it's no surprise how they treated him. At least Leo showed some condolences to Don by telling him that's not Timothy they're dealing with anymore, but even then, yeah I agree it was a tad callous for them.

Wow, I was so nervous about how Nick was going to characterize Casey (seeing as I'm not too thrilled with a lot of other characters), but I just LOVE him! He's got just the right amount of egotism and charm, obviously totally fearless but not exactly the brightest bulb in the bunch. This was such a great way to introduce him, I can't wait to see more of him. My only issue is that thanks to April he's probably going to think the turtles are a threat right off the bat without giving them a chance, since even with Timothy he made a few comments about how cool he thought he was, and I'm not sure Casey would have started attacking if Tim had been acting sane. Now Casey's got this idea that ALL mutants are a threat so I'm sure it'll take a good brawl for him to accept the turtles.

I gotta say though, April is really ticking me off. I understand she's frustrated and hurt about her dad, but she acts like the turtles have created this huge menace in her life. It's because of THEM she's even alive, she started training under THEIR Sensei, she owes them so much and for as long as she's known them I find it hard to believe she doesn't know that Don will do everything in his willpower to save her father. Initial anger I can sympathize with, but now she's all out acting as though she'd rather see them dead than ever have to talk to them again. If she's harboring anger, how about she aim it at the ones who actually is responsible for this whole mess? The Kraang and the Foot. Or are the turtles just easier targets for her?

Anyway, I liked Splinter's lesson with Don, and it seems like he's slowly starting to realize that even if it hurts to see her with Casey, like Splinter said he can't really force April to like him. I wish they had sort of driven that home a little better and had Don really show that he's coming to terms with this, since that would also maybe not cause such a huge, stupid Case/Don rivalry later, but then the ending just sort of dashed my hopes for all that. Still, I love how Don is so focused on Tim, despite all that Tim did to them, Don's empathy is so powerful, and I hope we get to see Don turn towards these things he does have control over, using his skills in ways that can actually contribute, instead of wasting his time with April and that pointless tangent.

I've been waiting for this episode since Pulverizer returns and I wasn't disappointed at all. It was very difficult to watch Mikey Leo and Raph going after MM. I know he was a goofball when he was human but I couldn't help liking the guy. It was nice to see Don feeling remorse for all Tim had lost. You could tell Don hated to trick him towards the end of the episode when he was frozen. That one line MM utters after drinking the mutagen and prior to freezing sort of tugged at my heartstrings. "Donny? Something's wrong." Since Mutagen Man is supposed to play a big role this season, I can't wait to see him showing back up.

Casey was pretty much what I was expecting him to be. Although he does seem a bit full of himself. I'm looking forward to seeing him being fleshed out in future episodes. Also nice cameo by premutated IC. I was wondering if that was the same cat or not but I didn't want to spoil things for my better half. So yeah I did catch that.

Out of all 4 eps we've seen so far, I like this one the best since I've been waiting for the payoff to Pulverizer Returns for so long. Not too sure about next week's. Mikey Gets Shellacne is sounding a little ridiculous to me, but I haven't seen it yet so maybe it'll turn out to be the opposite. It's just great to be getting at least 3 more new episodes in a row.

It would make her outburst rather pointless if she forgave them right away after seeing them after so long. But yeah seeing them fighting the Mutagen Man and saying "Oh I knew they were behind this." as if they deliberately sent Mutagen man after her just to annoy her.

It would have been better to have a moment where she at least stuck around and listened to their conversation, so that way she can at least hear that Donnie was trying to find a way to cure her father. Or at least have a reaction of her listening to the outcome of the thing and at least gaining a small sense of compassion for Donnie at least before she returns to her house.

However as much as it seems like it, I don't think this will be the end we see of Mutagen Man. If there is a way to bring a villain back, even a supposedly dead one it will be done.

As for Splinter's lesson. This isn't completely my theory since other people have had the same thought. But I had seen this possibility since early on in season one.

But I think one of the main reasons Donnie was given a crush on April (aside from it being funny) is that it was being set up to mirror the relationship between Hamato Yoshi/Teng Shen/ Oroku Saki.

The Private lesson between Donnie and Splinter was to show Splinter was starting to recognize his son was started down the Shredder's path and he is attempting to derail it from happening. And even at the end he is telling Donnie to respect April's decision and if she returns it's because she wants to.

Still Donnie is meant to play the Role of Hamato Yoshi or the Role of Oroku Saki is still up in the air.

Oh God.

It's the "Pulverizer Returns" all over again.

- Tim is acting cray-cray...for the second time.
- There is an annoying character in this episode, and it isn't Timothy.
- Donnie is so worried about a person, but he can't control the conflict.

However, I really like this episode for its plot, even though it feels like a carbon copy of the "Pulverizer Returns". With that being said, I hope the next episode is good.

Edit: Also, I couldn't help but laugh when Mutagen Man tried to run. It just looked so funny.

I don't think that was Irma. For one April wasn't even talking to her and if that was her she would have been introduced.

Anyway. It was a good episode, but then the whole season's been good so far. Casey is being played as kind of an arrogant douche, but that works for the character. The mecha cartoon thing was so cute and I'm sure there's so much mileage that can be taken from it. I felt for Don all through the episode. I don't really care about shipping and I certainly don't care who April does or doesn't end up dating, but it's nice how it was handled there. Okay, Mutagen Man's problem with the Turtles doesn't make sense, since his situation is all his own doing. But he was always kind of an unreasoning idiot, so fair enough.

Mutagen Man is probably mentally disabled now, of course his reasoning doesn't make sense. Surprised this is an issue for anyone.

This episode was seriously awesome! I loved the fight scenes in this one so much, they were pretty intense. Felt pretty bad for Timothy though. Do you guys think that Tim's really that far gone?

Thought Casey was pretty good. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

I was kind surprised April just decided to walk away and leave the guys to fight Mutagen Man. I get that she's still angry, but c'mon.

Wow. What an episode. So now we know how Tim got transformed by drinking the ooze. I was shocked that Tim wanted April for himself and didn't want to help the Turtles get her back, but I had a feeling he did resent them for turning him into what he was. Loved Casey's debut and thought he was great. Josh did a great job voicing him, and I love how he flirts with April but she doesn't return the feeling. Don's jealousy was understandable, and I did feel badly for him as well as for what he had to do to Tim. Definitely can't wait for next week. Overall, a really decent episode. Can't wait to see more of Casey. Oh,and I love the show that replaced Space Heroes as it still has that same vibe with the captain slapping that other guy. It sounds like the same voices, too, which makes me relieved as I was afraid they wouldn't use them again.

Don: Why would you eat random pizza from a roof?
Mikey: Roof pizza's on my list of ten favorite pizzas.

Leo: This show is awful, and you guys complained about Space Heroes.

Splinter: Donatello, I am going to teach you to learn to like falling down.
Don: What? *gets knocked down by Splinter*
Splinter: Did you enjoy that?
Don: No.
Splinter: Then perhaps we should try again. *knocks Don down a few more times* Did you like that now?
Don: No, Sensei, not at all.
Splinter: Then perhaps you should learn that one cannot force someone to like something.
Don: Well of course no one wants to--Oh, you're talking about me and April.
Splinter: For one so intelligent, the obvious alludes you.

Bill: What is it, Jim?
Jim: Some giant ooze jar. Stay where you are and put your hands on your...jar.
*both of them get knocked down*
Bill: What do I tell dispatch? Some guy with ooze legs is running loose in the city?

And that's all I can think of for quotes. See you next week, guys.

This might be the only version of Turtles where April has been angry with the guys for more than one episode .

Yup not my faovrite incarnation of Don since his dialogue made him sound like a overly obsessed stalker. I know that wasn't the intention but, how safe would you feel if some boy/girl knew where you we're and what you do at any given time of the day?

Liked this episode. Not sure about Casey yet. Will have to wait to see if his character develops. Would like to have seen something of Leo's reaction to Splinter's reveal that Karai is his daughter from the end of last weeks episode. Skipped right past any fallout from that.

Pretty good episode. I really dug The Mutagen Man's voice. It was super creepy.

I really like the episode.

And poor Timothy. :/ Don was holding hope he can still help him. We'll see.

There were melancholy peppered in this episode too.

1) Don considered himself a freak, and already trying to settle on that fact that April will only like a human.
2) He talked to Tim because "he was a good listener", implying he can't really trust his brothers in a heart to heart conversation. That's... really sad.
3) April really didn't want to contact them but still kept the metal fan.

Splinter's "don't force someone to like something" is a really good lesson. As for Casey, I like him. He and April had good dynamics.

And the fight in shadows is amazing.
