doesnt it take the bots time to learn the opponents moves? the turtles defeated them easily at first, even though karai had been training them.

dispointed with no irma, but atleast we get more casey fights

They do have at least some sort of pre-programmed skill set. Even if the Turtles beat them down easily as first.... April shouldn't be up to their skill yet to be able to do the same.

To be fair, ice-skating is probably not part of their early programming.

Also, it's possible that those ones made to adapt were advanced models too expensive to mass-produce.

It's a reference to the film Big trouble in little China and was a line used by the protagonist Jack Burton. It serves as a good shout out because Kevin Eastman has stated that he based Casey Jones' personality on Jack Burton. He was one of the inspirations for the character anyway. The phrase crackerjack timing is one of the many incredibly lame one liners Jack makes in the movie while trying to sound badass but comes off stupid which was the whole point of the character. i don't think anyone uses the term in real life.

While I'm also disappointed it's not Irma in this episode, I am excited to see Casey again and see him kick butt. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Wait a minute, so April's "friend" that is put into danger was actually Casey, and not Irma?

That's pretty dumb. Why didn't the summary just mention Casey in the first place? I guess Irma wasn't who the summary meant...

I'm wondering if Irma will still be in the episode anyways. I mean, Casey can take care of himself, how exactly is he put into danger? Unless some moments after that clip more Foot arrive and capture him or something.

I'd be surprised if it was anyone but Casey that was being endangered.

I know most of everyone is eager to see Irma, or anyone else who's meant to be a part of April's 'normal' life, but considering how much emphasis they've be putting on Casey being a major character this season, he was a given to play a part here. Assuming it'd be Irma finally making a debut on this show was just wishful thinking.

Makes more sense for Casey since he's now in Aprils life a lot more. Glad we get to see him encounter the foot right away.

The thing is... Irma seems more damsel-in-distress than Casey does. Casey would be anything but 'endangered'.

Agreed! I know it was said that Casey will have a difderent relationship with all the turtles, has there been any word on how him and Leo will I interact?
