I wonder what causes him to change his name from Spike to Slash.

What are you talking about?

Slash looks epic. I can't help but wonder if he'll be a villain or an ally. I assume that he'll go against just Leo, Don and Mike at first since he's big and strong enough to do so now, but when Raph defends them, he'll probably turn into a villain. I would prefer him as an ally, though. Guess we'll see.

I am suggesting the turtles MIGHT add Spike/Slash to their list ot revert back. Will they? Only production knows that answer. Others? Possible. I was rasig the qeustion will anyone other than Pulverizer and Kirby be reverted.

We don't really know for sure if the characters you mentioned will even BE de-mutated.

OH MAH GAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWD, I LOVE it! The voice! The size! Everything is PERFECT! THAT'S the Slash that I've been waiting for to be animated all these years! They've nailed it! This episode is going to freaking ROCK!

Besides, knowing this show, Mikey probably gave it to him as a nickname.

That voice is amazing. Glad they didnt play him as some brainless monster. Thats one thing I wish was different about the IDW Slash.

He's the size of IDW slash but also takes design cues from ot slash toy.

Most likely its the same as Chris Bradford as Dogpound. Dogpound chages appearances and thus is Razhar. A completely different character who gets the name of a classic character. Mike will most likely get the honor of redubbing Spike when he slashes at the other turtles. That is my guess.

I'm going to behave and save the entire episode for Saturday. Can't wait! Does anyone know if Slash and Destroy is going to be the last episode before the inevitable Christmas hiatus or might we be seeing a few more? I wanna say we were 10 episodes into the first season around this time last year.

Last year we got through 12 episodes before the Holiday hiatus. The 12th episode aired 12/15.

I'm hopeful we get a couple more before the break.
