Great episode I really liked Cory Feldman as slash his voice is so awesome. One question though do you guys think Slash would have destroyed Don and Mikey like he did, if he didn't catch them off guard? That goes for Leo to as he turned his back on Slash.

This was a really good episode but there is no reason for Spike/Slash to have been evil in the first place.

Wasn't OT Slash just misunderstood and over defensive? I have the DVD but haven't seen his debut episode for awhile.

Also, just a funny nitpick...the ooze breaks open falling off Raph's table but bouncing around the streets its fine. For the most part, the ones theyre looking for even survived falling from the Kraang ship.

True, but the reason Slash's character was always liked was because he's insane and a maniac. You don't know what he's thinking. If he didn't have that going he'd just simply be there.

I hope you mean Archie Slash. The OT Slash just wanted his palm tree.... so it's not really all that hard to know what he's thinking. He was mostly violent cause he didn't know any better. It was his first day so to speak. That's what bugged me when they called him dumb in the second episode... they were acting rather dumb themselves in Turtle Tracks.

I really loved this episode. There's not much to say about it that hasn't been said, though. Loved the Raph/Slash stuff, thought Leo's solo time was hilarious, and dang were those fight scenes brutal! I appreciated that Spike renamed himself as opposed to Mikey doing it.

And to answer the person how little kids handled it, I actually got to watch with my whole family, which included my 2 year old nephew, and he was pretty into it and didn't seem scared at all. Normally I prefer to watch my "silly cartoons" by myself, but we were all together for Thanksgiving, so it was interesting watching with my parents, older sister, and nephew. ^_^;;

When the little girl having tea with Leo told him to put out his pinky, my dad blurted out "But he doesn't have one." before Leo did. He also likes "the rat dad" in this version, but he prefers the OT TMNT cartoon to "this claymation show", lol.

Lastly, 80% is an A- now??? Holy crap, did I go to school in the wrong decade... When I was in school it was the lowest B possible. o_O

This episode was a great mixture of light and dark. If the scenes with Leo after the mutagen weren't involved with this episode, this would have been felt like a story our of the early Mirage comics. I loved all of the dynamics involved, and I'm glad Raphael had such a powerful episode.

Oh ya the palm tree. I remember now. Well Im not saying Nick Slash has to have the same personality and I guess you can be born evil. You don't necessarily need a reason.

Also did anyone find it odd Raph tried to save Slash from falling off the roof? I understand being sad that he lost his friend but after what he turned into and had done to them did he really think he could change him?

While my least favorite Turtle Raph really needed this episode. I'm very glad Slash was evil lol its kinda funny, while the method is totally different both Slash's are brainwashed. IDW by the scientist to hunt the Turtles and then turns on his creators. And is defeated by a stab in his neck/shoulder blade.

Nick, he is told by Raph how useless they are and how they aggravate him since Spike is who he confides in when he's angry. So in a way yeah Poor Spike just didn't know any better and does what he believes is right.

Both group of Turtles agree that they can't do nothing for him.

As most of you I really really loved the episode. So much darker than I was expecting, so that was a pleasant surprise - and the fighting was brutal! I hope that Slash continues to be a villain - he has a serious grudge with the Turtles and it would take quite a twist to make him an ally

I liked Slash saying "Been looking forward to that for a looong time" when he beat up Leo. It seems like he has been really p*ssed at them (but it makes sense, with him only seeing Raphs POW for many years)

the only thing that would have made this ep even more awesome - if Slash had been taunting Raph more, using some of the stuff he's probably said about his brothers when he's been spilling his guts to Spike. That could've been a way to dig even further into Raphs anger and loneliness-issues. I hope we'll see some of that in that next episode that features Slash.

I love how Slash looks, but man that episode was hard to watch for me.. seeing the turtles getting beat up like that, especially Mikey.. man, I did not like that at all.. Raph is a dick.. he gets mad at mikey for gettin a little pizza sauce on his mag but then he crushed mikey's mint in condition comic in the squirrelanoid episode. dude looked like he was on his period, he was fine all those episodes and suddenly he is over the top angry at nothing..

also this lame ass splinter, is he ever going to do anything?? season 1 he didn't do sh!t, he only stepped up in the last episode cause April trolled him.. and this season he hasn't done anything either. Hopefully when Slash will eventually come back to the lair, Splinter better step up and whoop his ass..

The writers really need to have a good reason for this, or else the whole series is a huge plothole.

even the older splinters in the original and the 2003 show put more work in.. this guy just sits in his room and does god only knows what.. he found out that Karai is his daughter but has done nothing at all about it!! what the hell is he waiting for? now that Shredder is away, now is the time to try to talk to her and convince her. Also there is Mutagen all around the city and he doesn't seem to care at all.. being a rat it should be easier for him to track it down and help the turtles in finding the canisters.

half of the conflicts they face, is not even their own! it's all Splinters mess.. like the Shredder for example.

as for Raph's character, he was fine the whole season, yeah he sometimes likes to pick on Mikey but you can see he does it with love.. this episode I just felt like he was over the top angry for no reason.. I did not get this feeling from him before. like in the spiderbytez episode i can see why he was angry, this time it just felt unjustified..

also when he said "you guys always side with mikey" that's not true.. it's always the 3 of them making fun of mikey..
