Minae Noji has secret role: possible Karai in 2014 movie?!

Yeah, She would have to be adopted, Previous incarnations of Karai had her being an adopted daughter to the Shredder.

It's possible they are coming mostly correct with Karai in this movie, in that she's playing The Shredder's boss from Japan. Unrelated and not an underling.

Though it could definitely be derived from her dialogue in that that she was a subordinate of his, relative or not. And it wouldn't be like they were going to go into TMNT Part 5 with the Shredder back and him playing second fiddle to her (particularly after she got beat down by April O'Neil).

Let me express myself in another way. What I'm attempting to say here is that Noji might not even play Karai in the movie. With our current knowledge, we can't say anything or come to any conclusions. Noji might just end up playing Lotus Blossom. All we now is that there will be a Japanese character in the movie. That's all.

I'm a believer that Eric Sachs will be a reincarnated Oroku Saki, and I think Noji could be Karai, Saki's descendent (daughter, granddaughter, more depending on the era Oroku Saki was alive). She could be the one in charge of reincarnating her ancestor.

OR Sachs could be the one claiming to be a reincarnated Saki, and Karai, the actual leader of the Foot Clan, takes issue with this, believing him to be an imposter or something.

Either way, with all the bad guy switcheroos we've seen in recent memory (Ra's al Ghul, Talia, the Mandarin), I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that Karai is pulling all the strings and is revealed to be the one under the Shredder mask.
