So is that one!

year of the dragon

Pterobat · 12-08-2013, 07:02 PM

Twenty-nine and feeling fine.

I grew up with the original cartoon, and the Archie series.

*Electric* · 12-08-2013, 07:27 PM

16

had the 2k3 series when i was younger

the range of ages here is kinda surprising, but i think its really cool that we all share an interest in TMNT

*Hero* · 12-08-2013, 07:40 PM

36, Not sure what the average is or if there is one

*MsMarvelDuckie* · 12-08-2013, 08:47 PM

Born in '76, Year of the (Fire)Dragon (And I'm a Sag, which makes me a pure fire sign. Oddly, my hubby is a Pices- a water sign. Guess opposites really DO attract!)

LeoNerdo · 12-08-2013, 09:07 PM

I turned 26 a couple weeks ago... Got into turtles around 4 or 5; the early 90's.

Some people here are old enough to be your father.

It's hard to believe most of the people here are 25-35 year old adults who were originally kids back in the 80's and 90's.

*BabyTurtles* · 12-08-2013, 09:41 PM

I'm kinda glad there are so many older fans

it makes me feel good that I can be a tmnt fan no matter how old I get

Dude, your birthday is on the same day as James Rolfe (the AVGN) except you're three years older.

Anyway, I'm 26 and was born in 1987, the year of the first cartoon. The first cartoon is my first exposure to the series and I also got into the movies when I was young. 2003 cartoon is my favorite version.

Lord Nightwalker · 12-09-2013, 07:35 PM

I was born in October. 1975.

I feel like I'm 80 does that count????

I am seriously only 22. My brother got me into turtles. I consider myself very fortunate as I got to watch the remainder of the OT, I was 13 when 2k3 came around and I was 21 when the IDW comics came out.
Basically I have always had a new and more mature version of TMNT to satisfy my hunger.

~~Leo656~~ · 12-09-2013, 11:33 PM

As someone I greatly admire once said with a smirk: "Over 21."

And older than about 90% of the rest of you, apparently.

I must look younger, simply because I'm consistently carded and/or refused alcohol at all but the shadiest of places. Must be that (mostly) clean livin'. I never smoked cigarettes, so I guess I kept a few lines off my face that way; my sister's only 8 years older than me but she looks like she's f*cking 50. It's a real shame.

Heather Breckel · 12-09-2013, 11:46 PM

29 and grew up with the original cartoon.
