Well the chart explains it then, I live in New York and as you can see New Yorkers have a lower percentage of attending Church.

I always figured most Church go-ers were older people like 50 and above. I'm surprised a lot of young people go.

I live in California. I'm not surprised it's so low for us. XD

but no~ adults usually have their kids go to church with them all the time :3 that's how they get in the habit of attending.

usually when you're a young adult (or around there) do you you make the decision to stay in the church or not, cause by that time your parents can't decided for you anymore.

Some times parents even send their kids to church alone. I knew some people who did...heck I work Saturday night and Sunday night 6 months a year (3 months of weekends, 3 months of weekdays, repeat.) I sleep Sunday mornings. Today my mom picked up my wife and son for church while I was sawing logs.

Yeah, when you're a kid, going to church on Sunday is non-optional. LOL. I remember back when TMNT season 2 for the 80's was new, it was also on a Sunday morning schedule. I was praying my folks would oversleep and thus we'd miss church and have no choice but to stay and watch Turtles. XD Remember, these were NEW episode at the time, plus the Turtles basically making a comeback after their 5 episode debut that was only played once or twice at the time. We really didn't wanna miss it.

You can still believe in God, Jesus, your religion, whatever...and not go to Church.

You people are also not thinking about everyone who works on Sundays. Millions of people work on weekends and in particular on Sunday morning.

They probably will change it back from what I'm guessing. I mean so far we only know the airing of this one episode and nothing confirmed for future episodes. Plus, Nick TMNT released new episodes before on other days (i.e. Friday) outside of their usual Saturday time slot.

Anything associated with commerce (i.e. commercials) is going to want to associate themselves with the Super Bowl in hopes of getting some "residual" viewership/publicity on that day, including Nick TMNT. I mean the 2013 Super Bowl had 108.4 million people watching (about 1/3 of the entire American population), so Nick is probably taking a tempting chance of higher viewership if the kids are going to stay home (more or less) that day anyways.

Edit: On a somewhat related note, what's more odd to me about the Nick airing schedule is why they didn't air anything new in December 2013. It was the opportune time to air at least a couple of new episodes early that month to keep the show in the forefront of kids' minds for holiday gifts and improve merchandise sales, but whatever. In addition... January 2014 wasn't a bad time either for airing new episodes since 1/2 to 2/3 of Americans were/are staying home anyways because of the bitter cold (especially with that polar vortex ).

So many opportunities missed....

You're not wrong, but it's still rather stupid to ask if people still go to church.

To be fair, I'm not religious, so I don't know how other people view these things.

And as I said, half of the U.S. works on Sundays. All those people going to their job Sunday morning obviously don't go to Church.

Well... I answered my own question.
If any of you are wondering why nothing was aired December 2013 and January 2014, it's because of the Sweeps period for the 2013-2014 season.

It explains a whole lot as to why the Nick TMNT show has such an unusual airing schedule (such as why there were July 2013 episodes aired, why the new season is delayed until mid-late October, etc.) and when we could vaguely forecast new episodes airing.

For 2013–2014, these are the Nielsen Ratings Sweeps Periods:
October 31 – November 27, 2013
January 30 – February 26, 2014
May 1–28, 2014
June 26 – July 23, 2014

Still... it is kind of unfortunate Nick has to cram new episodes in at the last minute around Sweeps, rather than airing at least a new episode here and there to take advantage of other higher viewership opportunities (i.e. the bitter cold during January 2014) and give the show a chance to attract more viewers (and gain momentum when it does come to Sweeps time) when staying at home is more alluring than going out. Meh... but I'm just a casual observer about this situation.

To sum up also, the Sunday airing has had a higher rating than the Saturday airing 3 out of the last 4 weeks.

They wouldn't have made this move if they didn't see reason, so the "Kids go to church" argument is out. Kids are watching it more on Sunday, simple as that.

As long as they promote it, fans will see it and the ratings will stay up.

I've got to know, are you a robot or some sort of visitor from another planet sent here to study humanity? You seem to know nothing about people's faith or slang or gender and racial identity. You're an alien, right?

I wondered how long it would take someone to ask if people still went to church and then not understand when people say they still do. And by someone I meant CC.

Maybe it's because I live in the South but my church has multiple services (Sat evening, early Sunday AM, late Sunday AM and Sunday evening) so it's easy to find a time that doesn't conflict with TMNT if you don't have a DVR.

Well, some churches also have other services on Saturdays, so if your church does, then just go then so you can watch the episode. And if you have the Nick West channel like I do, then you can always watch the replay at 2/1c. If those options aren't available, then you can either record the episode or wait until Saturday to view it again.

Haha, no. I'm pretty sure my church is the only one in the area that doesn't have the Wednesday get together.

Still though, it's ignorant. In fact, it's ignorant to ask "people still..." questions. Period. I've seen a lot of people ask that, and I just want to strangle the blood out of them. I say just quit while you're ahead.

Seems to be more than one Giant Rat btw.
Really reminds me of the 90's episode Wrath of the Rat King.
