EDIT: Also, I really have no idea what the point of the sweater wrapped around his waist is. Usually when people do that, they were wearing it at some point and will be wearing it again.

I doubt he'd be able to wear it, given his shell. It'd look hilariously awkward, in the not good way. So it's just...for show? How odd.
...........I've worn a hoodie around my waist just for fashions sake >_>.......

Raph's the Fury Warrior, hence loin cloth.

It's one thing being photo shopped well and this. This looks like something I could easily do in high school digital photography, professionals have so much higher standards

I'm curious why, at the end of Jan, stores are getting pictures of Halloween costumes for a movie that wont be released until Aug.

Oh. Never mind then. They were blue and long so I thought they were jeans

Do you guys think all the turtles are going to have that matching symbol tattooed on them? it's gotta be of some significance since it's on Mikey and that concept poster that was leaked a while ago.

I want so badly to not hate this but I just cannot stand the protruding nostrils or the lipped look. Sure nostrils could work (if they're subtle) and if it was just that I'd prob get used to it but humanised lips are all kinds of weird to imagine.
The clothing I'm ok with, it could add some interesting movement during a fight scene.
Tattoo again, yeah, I liked that on Zulli's so could be good but it won't make a human>turtle okay over a turtle>human.
I'm still stupidly clinging on to the hope though that I see the film, love it, and have to eat my words but it ain't looking likely.

I'm not sure anyone can ever wear a hoodie around their waist for "fashions sake."

I think that'd qualify as a 'lack of fashion' more than a fashion statement. Just saying.

The word "loincloth" just came from one dude who saw the toys. Loincloths were darned common on samurai, they just have some other Japanese name for them. Chillax, bros...

Wasn't also mentioned that it was in style like a gladiator loin cloth.

Well maybe

Just maybe they're releasing the worst one first so the other looks better in comparison.

How many times do we have to say this: The "nostrils" are there so the kid behind the mask can breathe! Well, that's what they're on the costume for...we don't know if the final designs will have them.

I either don't see these type of costumes all year, or I'm just not aware of them.
We are still months away from this movie's release.
It just doesn't seem right.
But the designs are in line with what I been reading people thought they would be.

Apparently not hahaha. Besides, it's really not difficult to find crappy photoshop work from professionals. You could probably Google that exact phrase and get hundreds if not thousands of examples.

Stores usually start carrying them in August.

Who's to say this costume was ever for sale? Only the picture was accidentally sent to the company early.

70% of the merchandise is probably done already...

If Rob Liefeld can be a professional comic book artist...
