Same. For me (most favorite to least favorite look) Leo, Don, Raph, Mikey.

I went with bad. I mean, sure, Leo looks somewhat decent (And I do like some aspects of Donnie's design), but other than that, these have to be my least favorite TMNT designs by far. I don't like the fact that Raph is wearing both his regular mask and a do-rag, it looks like a mess. A simple one piece mask would have looked better. And I'm especially disappointed with Mikey's look, it just looks creepy to me.

And those darn Turtle lips...Ugh.

Between these two options, bad.

But there are some elements I like, and several I don't.

*lol* No, I mostly said it because I've already got a bit of flak for not having a high post count and the two who had just posted made it sound like no longtime fan would admit to liking the designs. (Those of you that have high counts I give kudos to. I know many from the forum that have crazy-busy lives and still get on here on a regular. How ya find the time, I have no idea!)

It's been a long day. I apologize for coming off as snarky.

Or it could be were just happy that were getting a movie and that this franchise keeps going and doesn't die.

Okay, just next time don't insult pretty much everyone who reads it. Or word it a better way.

Like I said, I'm sorry if it came of snarky. I didn't think it was insulting, but if you want to try and "polite police patrol" people maybe you should also be hitting at those running around giving grief to everyone that's sub 1,000 posts.

You're preaching to the choir on that one, sister! And I, too, have been a life-long fan (with hiatuses off and on over the years due to- y'know, having a life) who only discovered this site about a year ago. Some people just aren't aware of EVERY aspect of the franchise because they have other things to spend their time on besides just TMNT.

In fact, my own love of all things Turtles was only rekindled a few months before I officially joined up here. And that was mainly due to an internet buddy suggesting I dust off an old tale I'd written back when I was a kid, and I decided to dive back into the TMNT head-first for "research"! And found so much more to love than the few incarnations that were around when I was a kid. Like the 2K3 series (which is now my fave, along with IDW and the OT) which I had mostly missed the first time around due to my work schedule back when it was airing. So ther ya' go.

And for the record, I voted "good". I'm not COMPLETELY sold on the designs, but there are things I like about them, and the more I see them, the more it grows on me.

Nothing against you personally, but I think this attitude is a small part of why the poll leans the way it does. People are just glad the turtles are around and don't want to be ungrateful for their resurgence.

Totally off topic here, but I have to say I have a massive crush on the 2K3 series and am currently working my way through the entire thing thanks to YouTube. 2K3 came out on my 18th birthday, so in between musicals that year, senior year of high school, and leaving home to go to college in the fall...well, it kind of got lost in the shuffle. By the time I saw a season three ep. Shredder was an alien and everything was crazy. It was a bit confusing. Hah.

And I can understand that to a point...but there has to be quality or it's just a "fart in a hurricane." But, to be fair if the movie fails we still have the Nick series and the IDW series.

You'd rather there be a crap movie or product out there than the franchise you supposedly love keep its long lasting fan base and respectable image? That doesn't sound like much of a fan to me. I'm not one to question fandom and I'm not neccisarly questioning yours but I don't get what you would want just anything out there for the sake of something being out there.!

Check out tmntuploader dude has all the episodes and has like some of the end episodes that go together like the 3-5 parters into "movies" so you don't have to worry about the theme song and credits and stuff.

Bad. I'm actually surprised at the love the designs are getting on this site. Figured most everybody would hate them

My 100% unabashed unfiltered opinion.

The 2014 designs are absolutely horrible. These are the worst ninja turtle designs to ever leave a scrap book.

Utter trash.

I was surprised at first then thought about the number of people who joined just to talk up this movie, then was like makes sense. There's gonna have to be another one of these after the trailer or movie. Some people are voting good just cause they "haven't seen them in action yet" which doesn't make much sense because the design is the same either way just one is in motion.
