I'd say this is in the top 3 episodes so far, behind "The Gauntlet" and one of the recent Karai episodes...the title is slipping my mind right now.
"Follow The Leader"? Is that the Karai episode?

Ok so first thought seeing the Casey/Raph fight... I feel like I remember reading an article about the 2007 movie that the Raph/Leo fight was suppose to end the same way (with Raph almost stabbing Leo in the face with his sai instead of hitting the roof next to him) and it surprised me they did it with this show... great scene though!!!

That was awesome. Great fight scenes, and awesome to see Jones and Raph battling atop a subway and in the station - and of course, Splinter being able to fight again.

I like how Raph and Casey were suddenly pulled together, over the similar ways of dealing with bad guys - just like it should be. They got kind of violent - moreso than the somewhat goofy encounter of the 1990 movie (And I'd've died if they'd used one of the old lines - "Cricket? Nobody understands cricket!..."), but it never went too far.

I'll just out and out say it - once again, Leo is a jerk. Yeah, he's been taught by Splinter than being "fair" means you don't ensure victory, sure. But I think he really targeted Raph, right as he was sparring with Mikey, then immediately went to bow to his master - and soak in victory. It felt like he was treating Raph like he was just another Foot soldier - "last turtle standing" or not. I'm with Raph - I'd loose my cool there too, and perhaps even do what Raph did. After all that, Leo could have taken the apology for what is was, instead of rubbing it in Raph's face, making him say it louder and louder.

But enough belly-aching, this was an awesome episode. Looking forward to more.

The lair was broken into by Casey Jones and foot soliders that easily? This needs to be a lesson learned for them especially Raphael. The foot soliders are not able to trace it but perhaps a early warning system that Don installed in the '87 cartoon would be in order.

Yea so I'm not nuts!!! It amazes me how 'violent' this show is sometimes... I remember Nick as a kid and it was either comedy shows like Salute Your Shorts or gross humor like Ren and Stimpy... I don't remember many shows being like this and I find it very enjoyable, much better than sponge bob!!!

Irma wasn't irrelevant it was just an introduction...to show she exists....

so then when they make an episode about her it won't be like "who is this girl?" "where'd she come from?" "she's april's friend? since when"

know what I mean?

also not to say you are wrong about Raph's temper tantrum problem again.
But I really think his bad temper has to do with Spike....he doesn't have him to talk his problems out anymore.....no outlet. That's why Casey is important, cause he can be all rough and tough with him and get all that crazy energy out XD

Absolutely LOVE this interpretation of Casey! Easily my favorite since Elias Koteas. He's essentially a hybrid of Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver and Kick-Ass.

I don't hate her. But I admit I am a little weirded out by the fandom's obsession with her, especially since her OT presence was annoying and boy-crazy creepy. Why doesn't Angel get this kind of love? She's actually kick-butt, interesting and full of potential.

I kinda like her, but I'm one of those people who isn't bothered by Darcy in Thor.

EDIT: I also hope we learn that Casey's sis is indeed this universes Shadow Jones.

Positives~
-I love the homage to both the first movie and The Mirage Comics.
-Splinter was fighting in this episode
-Irma finally appeared hopefully kept some of her funny quirks.
-Splinter wasn't just a wise old rat giving advice.
-Love that Casey is a nut job with a heart of gold (didn't like the OT)

Negatives~
-Mikey was pulling stunts I expect from 2k3 Mikey.
-Don and Leo we're barely in it although this gets a pass.
-Don was literally a punching bug in this episode.
-April's telepathic powers are stronger (when did that happen?)

Edit: I wonder if Shadow is Casey's younger sis?

How can anyone possibly hate Nick's Irma already given she's said one or two lines?

We have no clue what they'll do with her or if she'll become annoying or not.

I really enjoyed this episode. I barely even blinked when Casey and Raph started fighting. I wasn't expecting Casey to be able to rip to that level yet. That is just too much raw potential.
It was great seeing April with Splinter again and seeing everyone fight together. I guess Raph has a new best friend...I still hope we can see Slash again soon. Maybe now Slash will have
a new complex against humans if he gets jealous of Casey.
