I don't like the other gear they are all wearing and I hope at some point in the movie they get rid of it. But it is the full bandana on Raphael that bugs me the most.

It doesn't bug me though because it reminds me of

I'm a grown man, so these toys probably aren't meant for me... which is good because they look terrible. The design, the packaging, it just looks awful. It continues to mystify me how this stuff got beyond the drawing board stage.

FFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHK is the first thing that comes to mind. Are they wearing sweaters around their waists or what the hell is that? The faces and actual body sculpts look good, but their outfits look TERRIBLE.

Mikey looks hideous. He looks closer to Shrek than a Ninja Turtle.

^ not really.
But these are some of the ugliest tmnt figures since probably Jim Lee's TMNT or those horrendous pizza throwers from 94.
Even the Next Mutation turtles looked awesome in comparison. (Actually the toys were awesome in general back in the day)

The turtles have never exactly been "pure kids stuff". Just so happens that the most mainstream version of it was marketed that way in the late 80s/early 90s and now for better or worse they can never escape that image. I agree that there's nothing wrong with a grown man collecting action figures though. Having said that still not a fan of these figures.

Design is up to personal taste surely. But the packaging? You complain about packaging?

... right. 2k12 was more plain and no one gave a fuss.

I wonder of the CG renders used on the toy packaging sue the same texture as the CG poster we saw, they look the same. The turtles skin was weird on that poster, I really hope it's been fixed for retail.

Wish we had a better look at the smaller (and probably better/more detailed ones) - but as for the overal designs, looking good!

I curious how the Turtle Van is gonna play out in the movie. Are we gonna see some big car chase sequence involving the Van?

I think that would be awesome, Since we seen that happen on the Nick TMNT series once in a while.

I'm definitely looking forward to see that thing in action.

Wish it looked a little more haphazardly put together, but it'll probably look pretty cool on screen doing stuff.

Given that we only seen one behind the scenes pic of the Turtle Van, There has never been any leaked behind the scenes video of it in action. and I'm surprise nobody who ever witnessed it said anything on what they did with it.

Come to think of it, yeah that's kinda weird.

We saw it on that trailer, and I think a shot of it on the street, but did anybody see it in action?

Kinda odd.
