He gets made into Shredder's second in command? I wonder what happens to the previous 'second in command?'

Hmmm, methinks maybe 'Karai go bye bye'? Ethier turning rouge and doing her own thing, or turning good.

IDW is the best version of TMNT

If they make a TMNT reboot movie retelling the shredder battle/origin, I won't buy a ticket.

Couldn't agree more. A breath of fresh air. Otherwise it's like casting Keanu Reeves for a Ronin......oh wait.

I see you speak of Karai for a moment. She may not be everytime character (a suggestion), if her appearance is forced she may have a token nature. And yes, we are happy to have a kind of character that are possibly deficit, try to tone the deficit down or we notice that you try. If she has a big role then we're happy for her.

Well, with all of the times Karai has now disobeyed Shredder, he may be at the end of his rope once he finds out she disobeyed him again and may demote her putting Tiger Claw in her place.

I hope Tiger Claw isn't one of those characters you see in only one episode, and never to be heard from again. Hopefully he'll appear in more this season.

I doubt Tiger Claw will be a one note character as I'm sure he'll be prominent in Shredder's army.

That's what I think too.

Plus I'm glad he speaks Japanese, I'm wondering if the Shredder will be talking Japanese back to him? That would be neat.

Probably because he's a modern Japanese kid was was part of normal society, and not every Japanese character has to be a martial artist or a ninja? And how the heck is there a Japanese 'look'?

According to Cybercubed? Kimono and topknot is my best guess.

He looks to be in his late 30s or early 40s, I wonder what would have been going on TV or in Japanese society back then when he was a kid to make him choose the 'western' look.

Tke a look at quite a few anime, the old west/american western cowboy theme (Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, etc.) is very popular and prevalent in modern japanese culture.

Based on the leaked storyboard, I guess they will dispose Karai and he'll become second in command.

I'm not fond of having a Tiger mutant in the army. It feels like it makes Rahzar/Fishface redundant now.

The show needs more humans like Hun in Shredder's command, not various animal mutants. And this is on top of the possibility of Bebop/Rocksteady coming in and working for Shredder too.

He isn't the only Tiger Mutant, In the Archies Series Comics, There was a mutant 4 armed Tiger name Katmandu.

I know, but he was a one-off character living in the Middle East. He wasn't part of Shredder's army that we'd see for multiple episodes.
