Retromutagen Ooze replacement.

Hey folks,

I got this sleek stuff for about 2 dollars each. I think it's a good replacement for classic 80's slime.. (GB ectoplazm, TMNT ooze)!

It comes in green, red, purple, yellow and black.
Boooyakasha!

Now to try it on the flushomatic

Great now I need to go to Malaysia

Seriously though thanks for sharing... Hope there's something similar here in the states if only because I love the packaging

I've gotten the dollar store slime a few times from...you guessed it...the local dollar store (specifically Dollar Tree.)

It's pretty good - it works well in Muckman and I even made a slime-pit out of legos.

Sorry about taking so long - I have a toddler so taking pictures of a slime spewing vintage toy has to wait until it is safe to do so...for the toy's sake!

Anyways, I only have one vial of orange slime left, but it comes in green also (maybe other colors too, not sure.) Disregard the Lego skeleton floating in it, it comes from the store with just slime in the vial.

And here it is being applied to old Mucky himself:

Here it is oozing out in all it's gory glory:

There's a lot of slime, it takes just a small amount of it to 'fill' Muckman. Not bad for a dollar!

I got some of this stuff online for about 2 or 3 dollars a piece, works really well with TMNT figures. It shipped from China though, so it took several weeks to get here.

Anyone here try that "Turtle Slime" that was selling in the dollar section of Target? I have one container and think it works well, but my Target doesn't seem to have it anymore. Is anyone still seeing this stuff at their local Target?

I haven't found any more turtle slime from target.nit actually works great with tmnt figures. I bought a bunch of it a while back. I opened them all to consolidate. I will say that one was stickier than the others but not too bad.

Man I wish I had bought more of it before it sold out. It was really good slime for $1 a piece, its stickiness reminded me a lot of the old retromutagen ooze. I had asked one of the store managers, and she said that the item was seasonal, so unfortunately we might not see any more of it until the next Holiday season.

I remember some members had posted about it on one of the threads here back during the holiday season, not sure where, though. The Barrel-o-Slime works really well too, and you get a lot in the barrel! If I can find the website I ordered it from I'l be sure to post it here.

I'm gonna just assume you've never opened up a bottle of that stuff, cause if you did, you'd know exactly why. It's poiiisonnnnn~ Also this is a thread about the original ooze.

The green ooze from the multicolored ooze variety is good, just expensive. I just think it's good to have cheap alternative substitutes for retromutagen ooze available. Plus, it seems that Playmates has stopped shipping ooze altogether, hoping it's not discontinued already.

So that is why my food tasted funny that one time. I should probably not use it in my recipes. The original retromutagen tasted just fine, the new one is just not helping my digestive system like the old one. I went to see grown up 2 and I puked, oh wait, that was the movie that made me do that, not the ooze.
