Ahh very fortunate that LEGO recognizes your work and devotion at your site and sent you those sets! That's just awesome.
Thanks for the Sub review and all the detailed pics of the figures and the different stages of the sub being built. Are you going to put up your Shredder's Lair review soon? Also did they give you any details about when those sets are releasing? Since they are sending out review sets I guess it shouldn't be long. RE: Shellraiser Polybag, hope we get it in North America. That seems to be the same Mikey as from the Shellraiser set if anyone cares. So if you are only hunting for minifig variants, it isn't one. |

I think the Shredder Lair will be one of my favorites.
Edit: Awesome review Krang316. I cannot wait for your review on Shredder's Lair Rescue. I think that Playmates will probably not make a Turtle Sub that is in scale. I think that their Turtle Sub is the worst vehicle in the whole line, excepting of course the skateboard. In some ways, the Lego line is better than the regular action figure line. I do think that Lego should be applauded for their treatment of the line so far, sure i have heard some fans grumble about certain sets but overall i believe that they have done a good job.
Take the sub set for instance, Lego could have just kept leatherhead out of it, as he does not feature in the episode where we see the sub. However they included him which is great for fans that wanted him in Lego form, it shows that they have listened to the fans. Its not cheap to produce new parts and in the past Lego would not have bothered but these days they really do seem to be making a better effort. |

And the sub is way more size accurate, with what I saw seats for all four turtles, unlike playmates 1 turtle mini sub.
And, Lego is first out with a Karai figure, and Shredder's lair. Even a movie Karai. But the best figure Lego graces is is the fabulous incredibly amazing awe striking.... Vic. |
