Thanks for the reviews Krang316, I wasn't too bothered about this wave but I feel myself being drawn into getting them! The turtlesub looks amazing!

Those reviews are really making me want those new sets already. And I think the ones you reviewed are the ones I'm going to like the most. I sense some minor disappointment with the Shredder Lair set but I think it will look great with Dogpound, Fish Face and the Foot at Shredder's side. I also like that little rat in the prison. How about a subterranean themed Rat King set for next year, Lego?

As i said in the review the set could look really good if more was added to it, especially if you added the glass floor with the water under it. I might try and add it because like you said adding Dogpound, Fishface, Baxter etc could look fantastic.

I hope to see the Rat King in Lego form too, Tiger Claw would be great too but i wonder if we will get a third wave of sets. I suspect Lego might concentrate on the movie line more if it is successful.

What they need to make is a Snakeweed Lego figure. That would be awesome and I would buy that in an instant.

Yea same. They should make a "new mutants" battle pack

I like the choices for the Bebop and Rocksteady figures, what head piece are you planning on using for Bebop?

jestergoblin: have you thought about using wildstyle's hoodie (both hood up and hood down version) for Casey?

You'd have to paint over or remove the small pink & blue section of her hair but otherwise I think it fits well.

Of course, you'd need a black/gray hoodie or jacket to go with it. I can see why you went with the blue though.

Your B&R are coming out excellent so far, very easy to recognize who they were supposed to be in an instant

Thanks guys.

Rocksteady is getting Rogon's head from the Legends of Chima line, I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

Bebop's head is going to be the pighead from Crazy Bricks since LEGO hasn't made any pig people besides the Gamorrean Guard.

As for Casey's hood, I'm not thrilled with it and would like to use Wildstyle's new hood piece but then I need to find a new torso as well.

I have a bunch of other figures in the works - especially after some of the movie sets I saw, but I'm trying to pace myself and not go overboard.

If you do decide to use Wildstyles hood then I would advise that you use Brasso to removed the painted bits. Brasso will wipe off any lego print/painted areas, much easier and better looking than painting over the piece IMO.

I do hope that we get a Casey figure at some point, I was hoping we would see him in the latest wave of sets

Everything is an existing LEGO piece, I didn't print or paint them.

Bebop: torso is the Monster Fighters werewolf (and I have plans for the head...), legs are from a Space Police III alien.

Rocksteady: torso is the Mandarin from Iron Man III (new arms) and the legs are from the Monster Fighter set with the Swamp Creature.

Once completed, Bebop will have a non-LEGO head but Rocksteady will be 100% LEGO.

I just started getting into the lego sets and I'm quite pleased with them! I find it funny that I put my first ever lego set together at age 26 lol. I'm starting to see the new sets up for auction on ebay now, is this usual for upcoming sets or not?

I don't think you could make a more prefect Rocksteady using only official parts. Definitely came out well.
