Good find. Although I much prefer a less sic-fi element in the turtles movie-verse. Not a big fan of the whole "ninjas in outer space" thing. I would like to keep it more grounded like the first film. Could be interesting still. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I prefer the more Scifi stuff from TMNT, Which were in the Comics and so on.

I agree with you and love a more grounded film, however since their trying to make a trilogy I believe the Sci-Fi aspect helps that a lot more in stretching it out and creating a larger universe.

Since Fichtner is signed on for 3 films, I wonder how The Shredder/Utom Shredder will return in the next film.

Maybe he will build the technodrome, and bring in general tragg or something.

If he's not the "real" Shredder, and Oroku Saki exists in this version, I wonder how they'll utilize the Sachs character in the next two. I'd guess they might turn him into another character, like Nick does. Could be interesting if done right.

Like maybe he gets the snot beat out of him and is forced to live underground...

Those definitely look like Utrom flags. You can make out their little eyes and tentacles.

I remember asking Kevin at the TMNT 2 movie screening recently if they might be going with the IDW route (obviously I knew he couldn't and wouldn't tell me everything), but he said they were going with a more traditional route from Mirage. That could mean Utroms, or the gritty stuff without the sic-fi elements.

I hope for the former, I like the more scifi stuff, The gritty stuff has been done to death, And we need a TMNT movie that has the more scifi elements to it, Though TMNT 3 had time travel, which itself is scifi, But I like the stuff that's more otherworldly.
