Jaguar is the offspring of a human mother who got impregnated by a Jaguar spirit. So hes not a mutant.

Also not a Mutant, Dreadmon, Hes more like a Werewolf, And Ninjara is part of an ancient race of Fox People

Did you talked to him if we will ever see that character brought back? Maybe in the new TMNT comics or on the nick series?

You know what happened to me today. I want to get some of the comics from Mirage, just so I can read them and form a true opinion on that world, so I stopped by the big comic book store near me. I look around, not finding anything, so I went to the clerk and asked him if he had any Mirage books, and if not, could he maybe order some for me. He had no idea what Mirage was. I was like, you know, Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, TMNT! He was still looking at me puzzled. My cousin was with me and she blurted out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He was like, they got a comic book out? I tried to tell him how they started from comics back in 84, and the guy had no idea.

Really???? Please tell me they are not that obscure that a comic book shop wouldn't know that TMNT did have a comic book first way before the toon was invented?

one of my 2 local comic book shops has them "hidden" you pretty much have to enter the temple of doom and dig through catacombs to reach them

its not just turtles either they only really promote marvel and DC..and even now they lean more towards the hero clix than comics

I noticed that in this store. They had a crap load of anything having to do with The Avengers. The so many adaptations they had, was truly mind boggling. Now, the guy did look in some bin under a table that had a bunch of Avengers stuff, looking in the T section for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but he didn't even have the new ones out from Nick.

hearing stories like this make me shake my head - the Turtles are such a big part of pop culture how could a rep in a comic book store not know, at least to the slightest degree, how they originally got their start...

...but then i have to remind myself that not everyone LOVES these guys the way we do...and my fanboy rage slowly dies,

you know who i want to see..Venus

now hear me out, i know most of the fandom hates her, but i always felt she was a good idea put in the wrong situation

theres so many ways to fix her story, she doesnt even have to be a "sister" in terms of being in the same bowl...could be Shredders mutant turtle experiment along with Slash

Change her name, take away her magic abilities, take away the boobs and could work. I am for this...

i understand changing her look and "powers" but why her name?

you may as well make a whole new character at that point

the name Venus isnt bad and sure not an artist but it fits within the Turtles

Would any of the mutants from the 80s series and toyline work in a live action movie?

I can't think of one that might work

The question is, how would they look in a realistic style, in live action?
