^ The artist proof (AP) of the statue is a sample used during production. So, often they're given out to the artists, as promotions, etc. Unless the auction specifically says otherwise, I'd assume that the statue is the same in every regard except that it isn't part of the numbered edition.

Fishy or no? I don't usually like buying things without seeing what comes in the box. It says "Pack: 2 Toys". What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

When buying a statue, I think it's a good idea to ask the seller to inspect the item first. Sometimes damage occurs during shipping, so even if the statue is new and hasn't ever been opened, there's still a slight chance it might be damaged. Most people selling statues open them up for inspection, snap photos, then sell it.

That is pretty good actually. I won't buy it, but it is pretty cool. It would be cool if somehow down the road playmates made this version of her. They did make a weirdly colored version for the original cartoon.

Of course playmates won't even make a Karai and she is a main character. Eh, I am dreaming.

Pretty neat considering we odds are will not receive and Irma figure from Nick. But is it worth $100? IMO no. Cool to see though!

Hey guys, wtf is going on, i dun even....

I was the only bidder for an item but somehow lost the bid. Less than an hour later, seller sends me a second chance offer but i think he is just trying to rip me off.

#1. I highly doubt someone else outbidded me. Seems to me he was just trying to make me pay my maximum bid + a lil more (like few cents more) cos my winning bid wasn't my maximum bid.

#2. Not likely for him to have a second item with the exact same condition. This is BS!!

I am so furious now... If it was genuinely a bidding war, i would have been happy to pay my max bid but seems like he is just trying to fish for my max bid when there ARE no competitors.

Your thoughts?

It's like me winning a bid for $20 for a figure, with max bid $100.
Someone joy bids but then chicken out and now you're telling me i have to pay $100 if i REALLY wanted it? To hell with this guy, i am putting him in my blacklist.

Btw, the bid started at GBP4.99 which i won. And the 6.01 currently was my max bid.

I really have to wonder if someone didn't just take a fan club form and slide it through the opening in the bubble at the bottom. In particular, why does this one not have the Fan club notice on the back as all of the Turtles did?
