If he loses his eye during the show there will be a reason that is there to be explored. Otherwise he would've started the series minus the eye, like with his tail.

We don't see any instance connected with the 'swallowing' so therefore it probably isn't relevant.

There kinda has, actually. Rob Paulsen mentioned that he'd be "talking to himself" when asked about the OT turtles (Nick Don and OT Raph interaction) and since that didn't happen in "Wormquake!", then we're probably going to see the OT turtles again...probably in the season finale, I bet.

If I'm not mistaken, Ciro said that the last few episodes of the season would involve a lot of dimension hopping. That paired with what Rob said makes a pretty strong case for a second appearance, I think.

they even had Mikey say piiizzaa!! in Greg's voice XDDD

it was in the latest episode~(today) Mas Y Menos (those super fast twin kids) dropped off some pizza for the turtles XDDD and the turtles were like "YEEAAA!!" and you could hear Greg's voice!!! it was quick but it happened~

the episode was called....Mas Y Menos I think :3 It was about Robing mentoring the twins.

That's odd considering TMNT is Nickelodeon's property and not Cartoon Network's...

You can parody anything. See Family Guy, Simpsons, Robot Chicken, etc. who use or name drop other superheroes and get away with using them.

Well, I've always liked Raphael and Donatello interaction, and while this wasn't exactly what I had in mind when wanting these, it still works.

Yeah it very well could happen around there. We can pretty much tell for sure that it isn't happening in the next few episodes unless it begins during the 3rd act or something. I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to get a big season cliffhanger. You don't see that in too many animated series these days and those are always fun. They open wide the gates of ti-- uh speculation.
