Official Episode Discussion S2 #15 "Mazes and Mutants"

Sounds like this episode will be right up my alley! When I can finally watch it, that is. So Paul Reubens is the bird? Somehow, that doesn't surprise me. Funny thing, I was just talking about him with my other half the other day, too. Mostly how we hadn't seen him do much of anything since Pee-Wee and his role in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. (That the show was later based on.)

TMNT playing D&D? Awesome! I sometimes run D&D games with a few friends when I can get a group together (Yes, it IS still a thing, and is a lot of fun!) on a regular basis. Our games are done around the table, though- I haven't done any LARPing in YEARS. It was a lot of fun when I did, though. And Raph saying he doesn't do rings is ironically funny, considering who his VA is! (Makes me wonder though- how would that story have been different if Samwise was the ring-bearer?)

Good episode, here's my thoughts:

-The first few minutes of the episode felt like an episode of Seinfeld.

- Props to nick for getting Pee Wee Herman to be Sir Malachi.

- Loved all of the Lord of the Rings references.

- Hmm, I didn't know they made Cheese Popsicles.

8/10. Good episode, but not perfect.
