Mutagen probably would if the whole premise of the episode is to save April from being mutated by Baxter Fly. It would be a waste to know that April didn't need saving to begin with.

It would certainly mean that April admits to Casey that she's a mutant or neutrino or Alien/human hybrid thing.

I know April's father is protective, still I think he might realizes April is a grown woman and not a helpless little girl. And if he gets restored maybe he helps the Turtles get out of the city when the Shredder invades their lair.

Still I feel that this retro-mutagen will be too easy at this point. It could be possible it will end up being destroyed so it's not administerable to anyone or it restores Kirby enough to make him sentient and somewhat human, but not fully able to restore him completely. That way even if it has some success even if it doesn't completely work. And that way Kirby can decide if he wants to be the Turtles ally I.E. Wingnut from the Mutanimals.
Or he still blames the Turtles for his condition and refused to allow April anywhere near them ever again.

It would be cool if April was immune to mutagen, wich is what I was hoping since the Krang water didn't effect her.

I'm wondering about that myself. It would make sense if she was immune. I'm thinking we'll find out on Sunday for sure. If she does mutate, she'll probably be demutated in the same episode.

I was thinking some things along these lines too. It still seems like Don just BAM, made the perfect batch of retro-mutagen just because he wished to. Even though he has been shown to continually be working on it, it would still seem too easy if there are no quirks with this batch. And how does Don really know if there won't be any side effects? Or if the retro-mutagen's effect will be permanent? Kirby's mutation will probably stabilize and he may even get a better design, but I doubt he will become fully human in this episode. Nick has been pretty good at plot twists and surprises, so there really is no telling what will happen.

Well there was a image in the trailer of April and Casey riding Bat Kirby so that's probably a indicator that something happen to the retro-mutagen like it doesn't make a 100% cure or it got stolen by Baxter Stockman and Donnie unable to whip a new one.

I doubt Kirby will be fully mutated to human, but I do think he'll be more sentient and possibly able to talk, which would be cool to see. I love seeing Cipes's head as Mikey's human form. That's just so cool and a great nod, too.

And hurray for a fourth season! I'm so excited about that and can't wait to see what else Ciro and crew has in store for our boys!
