Here's the teaser: http://cartoonart.org/2014/04/teenag...ninja-turtles/

We've got a lot of great stuff for this one, including Kevin Eastman's first drawing of Shredder, the entire first issue and cover, the Raphael and Donatello Micro-Series covers, some early interior pages including the first two-page splash from Return to New York, storyboards and cels from the 1980s cartoon, VHS cover paintings from the 1980s cartoon, some pages from Ross Campbell's recent Northampton storyline for IDW, and probably a lot more that I'm forgetting about. Don't miss it!

Just got back home from the Ninja Turtles Expo at the Cartoon Art Museum

For any TMNT fans living in California, or planning to visit the San Francisco Bay Area between now and September. The Cartoon Art Museum is having an exhibition on the TMNT franchise displaying art from Eastman and Laird's iconic first issue, Story boards and cell art from the 1987 TV series, to art from the IDW comic.

The Cartoon Art Museum isn't a large building, but the exhibit isn't disappointing and uses it's allotted two galleries well. What was disappointing was the fact I was the only person who was there to see the exhibit itself. I wasn't expecting a long line of people standing out side the door, but I certainly expected more people then just myself and the few visitors who had come to visit the museum.

Still this was opening day and the exhibit itself goes until September 14th so there is still time to visit.

In June, Andrew Farago the curator of the Cartoon Art Museum will be launching a book on the history of the Ninja Turtles. There Ninja Turtles Exhibit will show case concept art from the hit Nickelodeon series in June as well.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Radical Mutations the ultimate visual history is available for Pre-Order on Amazon.com

Nice!!

This one is actually my poster:
Spoiler:

^_^

There is going to be an opening reception in June. I think promotion for the exhibit and traffic should pick up surrounding that. I am looking forward to getting up there to see it, myself!

Thanks for the reminder, I added myself to the facebook guest list so it can remind me.

This is on a Saturday... I might be able to attend.

Awesome that this will be a free event. Ciro and lots of other TMNT people will be there!
