I do care about the show, but lately I have been less and less motivated to watch it.....I try to put my expectations low, but some of the things I want gone will never be gone. T^T but I WANT to like it.....so I watch the episodes regardless and I get frustrated....then I rant....then I watch a new episode and get frustrated then rant again...It's literally self-infliction!! and you guys here see me whine about it....

I loved the first season though and just reaaaaallly want to like the second season. I did love Slash and Destroy, the Rat king episode, and The good the bad and the Casey Jones....I wouldn't say I dislike everything.

it's just--ever watch a show for a character you love? Well I love Mikey...he's always been my favorite turtle....you can't tell me that what they are doing with Mikey is a little sad.....and that also hurts me a little inside too.

Don't mean to be a downer though. I get sarcastic when a show I like is going south.....

I gotta watch myself...

The show is losing the hype a little bit. The plot holes are becoming more common.

I hope the jewel thief is female. We need more female characters. Maybe it is a bit of a cliche (Catwoman clones are common), but I really like that trope.

What if they took Alopex and tweeked her origin to where she was a thief?

On a side note... I wonder if it's possible that the thief... is Karai? The show has already established that she steals things (the sword from Season 1, etc.), could she have some motivation for wanting to steal it?

About the show "going south"... I really don't feel that way, at least not yet. I think the Baxter episode was strong. I mean there are complaints to be made for sure (april kidnapped AGAIN? come on), but it was a big improvement over the LARP episode. Now that we know this show is getting a minimum of four seasons... hopefully Ciro & co. have some story arcs planned out because they have plenty of time to do just about any kind of story they want. Let's hope they are smart about what they are doing.

That's understandable. The exact same could be said for Raph as well. Then they bring something interesting for him with Slash & Destroy...and then nothing.

I look at getting his mutation reversed as a way to prevent future problems rather than an act of kindness. On top of dripping acid from his hands, super human strength, lack of intelligence and common sense, he EATS mutagen which, last I checked, was a bit of an important part in developing the cure.

Curing Timothy means one less pissed off mutant to worry about and avoids the risk of any more mutagen being lost.

The only reason I see Timothy staying as mutant is that like Donnie has stated, is important for developing the Retro Mutagen. Sure Donnie has the cure, but Timothy could like be the one that can speed up the process of developing the Retro Mutagen and even Ciro has stated Mutagen Man will be playing a huge part in Season 2.

I'd reckon Timothy will stay as a Mutant, only to help develop the Retro Mutagen. If it wasn't for that, Timothy would most likely be one of the first ones to be demutated, considering how heartbroken Donnie was when he couldn't help Timothy.

Just my 2 cents.

I'd love for the master thief to be Lotus. She was a thief in the original cartoon, so I think it would be awesome if they brought her into the picture.

Definitely. She may even be mutated into Alopex if it's her.

wait a minute..!a minimum of four seasons!??..when did this happen?was this announced already?I haven't heard or read about this developement but it would rule!

as far as I knew the cartoon was greenlit for 3 seasons.

Dang it, they are actually going to mutate Karai. Well, that blows considering I like her devious attitude and superiority to the other henchmen because she's not a freak like the others. It's too bad she's actually going to end up being the same as the bunch after all.
