But because of all of Raphs b*tching about his brothers, he thinks that they stand in the way of Raphs greatness, and that Slash and Raph would be a better team than The Turtles could ever be, and therefore they should be eliminated. That thought is indeed very twisted and evil, but I think there's a difference between that and his "care" for innocent people
edit: You can argue that Raph himself has difficulties in drawing the line. In that ep in season one where the Purple Dragons beat up Murakami, Raph wants to kick the living sh*t out of them, even though it's clear that they are no treat to the Turtles (and actually are afraid) - and he gets mad at Leo for stopping the fight

I think sometimes we focus so much on each of their "strengths" that we forget about their "weaknesses". I think Raph's is his lack of "mercy" and Leo's is his "bossiness" and Donnie's is his "overthinking" and Mikey's is his "goofiness" that gets him in to trouble. All really great heroes need to have some flaws because it makes them relatable to the people who love them. Stan Lee said that is why he thinks people love his characters so much because when you get down to it they are still very "human". A person made fun of me once for saying that I could relate to the Turtles and they thought that was completely stupid to even say. I would guess that MOST of us here CAN relate to them and ESPECIALLY to our individual FAVORITE Turtle.
