Got to agree, Nick's slash is my personal favourite, I wish IDW gave him a few more brains and he'd be awesome too though he's going to be coming back to the comics soon!

Anyway...

In Slash's design, what if he looked like a big muscle-bound snapping ninja turtle with an eye patch covering his yellow eye? Plus wearing a trenchcoat?

He can be like a wounded snapping turtle who got experimented on.

In the Nick cartoon he seems to be a regular tortoise, how does he evolve into a snaping turtle?

If this movie spawns sequels, then I think they should embrace a more "anything could happen" narrative. It already seems to be the most free of prior canon restrictions after all.
To that end, Shredder is killed at the end of the first, but resurrected as Slash later. Somewhat like Hun in Turtles Forever, only far more bitter, savage, and insane because of it.

I didn't like Nick's version of Slash at first. But at least the personality I like.

I would quite like the idea being that slash was the first turtle experiment (going along the lines that the turtles were experiments and not an accidental mutation) but due to his unstable nature he is kept under lock and key (possibly cryostasis). eventually he escapes and starts targeting the turtles blaming them for his incarceration under the assumption that they had left him there (they were unaware of his existence).

Although unstable i see him as a predator stalking the turtles rather than a full on battle (for those of you who have played Arkham Asylum think about the scene where batman is being stalked by killer croc but replace the characters with one of the turtles and slash).

I see him as a skilled fighter, not so much ninjutsu but using his speed and strength to strike fast and overpower his opponent using whatever weapon he has to hand.

I like Slash on the Nick show, but I cannot stand Corey Feldman or his horrible voice. I wish they had chosen another actor to voice him.

I like it.

But I wish he learned ninjutsu while spying on them. And he can swipe any weapon from the turtles' stash even the Foot's stash.

Still would like him to be the "Venom" of the TMNT movie franchise.

I hope in the new movie there is a scene where the Turtles are in a lab with Baxter and there are cages with animals in them from Warthog, Rhino, Gator, Rats, Snapping Turtle and even a insect cage with a bunch of flies in it.

Wish there are other animals that can be ninja based. Perhaps these animals can join the Shredder along with Bebop & Rocksteady somehow.
