Jason Biggs recast as Leonardo. Seth Green to replace him - Page 6

I know at this point I'm just harping on it but this other voice has no emotion to it. Jason's goes higher and lower and has a younger feel to it, while this one, while it sounds like Jason's, just stays monotone in every line.

Really hope Jason's not gone and that he sticks around.

yea, I went back and watched his parts in Pizza Face and I can see what you mean.

Jason Biggs does seem to have more emotion when he's talking.......(ugh now I hope Jason Biggs isn't leaving)

Went on Dominic catrambones twitter, and everyone's asking if he's permanent. While he hasn't given a straight up answer, he has replied to people complimenting him with "Keep tuning in to season 2 (hint hint)" and "There's more to come"

I finally get to watch the episode and... I'm impressed, his voice totally sounds 99% almost exactly like normal Leo. I totally forgot Leo's voice was done by a different actor until I see the end credits.

Sure I prefer Biggs but I'm fine if the new guy is a permanent either way.

I watched the ep last night and honestly if I hadn't read it here first I probably wouldn't have noticed. Knowing about it ahead of time I did catch the difference, but it was hardly noticed. I like Jason and hope he stays on, but switching with this other actor won't be a big deal for me.

According to this post on Tumblr, Jason Biggs is not fired, His wife was Pregnant at the time.

May very well be true, as it's already a popular theory, but still... we need something more than some fan ramblings.

Yeah, I could definitely notice the difference, but I think it was more noticeable because I had read beforehand that Jason wasn't the voice in it. Had I not read it first, I'm not so sure I would've noticed as easily.

That's good for him. Hope his wife and child will be alright.

Knew it had nothing to do with his controversial tweets from a while ago since, like I said before, seems way too late to punish him solely for that.

Exactly Zulithe. I read the tumblr entry, and it's funny that random fanblogger is critical of others using other random unreliable sources about Biggs' future, yet this same fanblogger doesn't even provide anything official himself/herself.

I realize that blog post is unreliable, but I agree that he can't be punished for those tweets since they were so long ago. If they had wanted to fire him, they would have done so after those tweets were linked, but he stayed on. I guess the best thing we can do is wait for the next episode. If it sounds like Dominic, then we know Biggs was replaced. If not, then we know that Biggs wasn't fired. I did notice the slight difference, but it seemed like he was trying to sound like Jason whereas in the other episodes where he spoke a line or two, he sounded like Leo from the video game. So that's my take on it.

And maybe he wasn't directly fired but decided to leave the show due to scheduling conflicts or because he wanted to spend more time with his son. If that's the case, then I'm okay with that even if it is a bummer.

Dominic Catrambone did a great job filling in - I didn't even notice until it was pointed out to me, and even then, it was a very good imitation.

That said, I think Biggs has really brought a lot to the role and given it a certain energy, and it'd be a real shame to lose him. Hopefully this is just down to a little paternity leave.

So I have no idea why Nickelodeon is being so secretive about this. Also I find it ironic that this guy is just a fill-in, yet he has TMNT on his Twitter banner and Biggs doesn't.

I don't understand why people expect Nick to say anything. When has a cartoon ever announced that a voice actor of a main character was getting fired and replaced with a new actor?
